I'm fairly conflicted on this. Tears of the Kingdom is the best game I played this year, but Baldur's Gate 3 is my favorite game released this year. Not really sure which deserves my Game of The Year.
The only other category that I voted on that was a struggle was best Indie game.
The vote was between Dave the Diver and Dredge, but after much deliberation I went with Dredge.
I wish Tchia had got a bit more recognition, it only showed up in one category.

I wish they would add a best short game award. I feel like the smaller games tend to be overlooked in favor of the lengthy epic stuff.

I played a bunch of games that came out this year including many of the big ones, but nothing comes close to Baldur's Gate 3 for me. It's a masterpiece.

I'll have to check that out. Feels like I haven't played much this year, so I probably missed some good stuff.

Yeah I voted too. But lots of good noms this year for the most part. Even though I didn’t get around to it yet I hope BG3 cleans house. From what I hear it’s exemplary.
