What games is everyone hoping to get that deep, fat Black Friday discount this year? Mine is below:

Street Fighter 6
Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon
Ghostrunner 2
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Sonic Superstars
Lords of The Fallen remake
Dark Pictures Anthology The Devil In Me
Mortal Kombat 1

Sonic like last year. (Still haven't beaten the first world in Frontiers.) Besides that, I'll just grab whatever gets a steep discount that looks interesting to me.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury
Cereza and the Lost Demon
Pikmin 3 Deluxe
Fire Emblem Engage
Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Bootcamp
Metroid Prime Remastered
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD

Any of those would be nice for me.

How cheap do you want Cereza? It's already $30 on Woot.

Nice. I’m playing Cereza now and it’s a lot of fun.

I'd like to see the PC versions of these games on sale:

Spiderman Remastered
Spiderman Miles Morales
Final Fantasy 7R Intergrade
Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion
Baldur's Gate 3

I feel like all except BG3 are due to go below $30.

There's not really a whole lot that I'm looking forward to this year. Maybe some kind of sale on PSVR2 might convince me to finally grab one. I'm surprised (and kinda proud tbh) that I've been able to hold off on buying it for this long already.

edit: To clarify, there are plenty of games I'm looking forward to (Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake II, Resident Evil 4 Remake for example), but with my backlog being what it is, I just don't need them this holiday because I won't get around to any of them for a long while. By the time I would get to any of those games, it'll be easy to find them regularly at or less than whatever their Black Friday/Cyber Monday prices end up being.

I've got quite a bit of money set aside for sale this time of year. However I am not planning on buying new games. Going to support the local game store here as always and will likely buy some number of blu rays.

Hit me up if you luck into a reasonably priced Silent Bomber. wink

I’m hoping for a good deal on Sonic Superstars sometime before EvilleCon next spring.

I don't think I've had $1400 to my name in ten years. -,-

What are you running now? I built a PC off of used parts for about $360. Nothing special, but has room to grow. Had to do some deals to put it all together, but that's part of the fun for me. https://pcpartpicker...

I'd love a cheap OLED TV. I already have a 4K HDR TV, so I feel like the next progression would be OLED...though it would probably just be 60Hz if affordably priced. I've seen the LG A2 for $600 on Best Buy recently.

But yeah...basic 4K TVs are now a dime a dozen now. A 50-inch one was $150 just a couple weeks ago. Wouldn't surprise me if we saw them for $100 on Black Friday.

I love my OLED. I recommend LG OLED highly. Sony is a good runner up I heard though.

OLEDs rock. I love my C9, though my wife uses it way more than I do. Hard to beat the picture, especially off angle. They certainly are a premium on price now that 4K is more/less standard.

Can't seem to justify buying one since I own two 1080p and two 4k tvs. So much wasted money......

If not for the burn in risk I'd already have one. I know people like to pretend it isn't an issue, but it is when you live with someone who falls asleep with the roku home screen on.

There are defense mechanisms in place against burn ins tho on OLED’s well my LG OLED that I’ve noticed whenever you were idle like sometimes I’ll let my video game home screen become idle, and the screen will turn very dim, where you can barely even see what’s on the screen until you are active again also, there are screensavers which you can enable that turn the screen completely black with just like fireworks that pop up every 30 seconds or so to let you know the TV is still on. I have had 2 OLEDs. One for 3 years and another for about 7 years now. And not once have I experienced that even with leaving the TV idle numerous times over the years
