It says I have a new offer message but when I look it says "There are no offers with new messages." Ghosts?

I'm not sure why it happened, but I did a "sync" on your account that seems to have cleared it.
I probably should have tried to look more closely at it before I did that.

Yeah, I got one of those a few days ago too. Username was HN2049, but when I got on the site there wasn't an offer and apparently that username doesn't exist on the site. It was an offer for GamePass Ultimate which is on my want list if that helps with anything

That was a new user who signed up a couple days ago and made a couple spammy posts in the forums. We nuked the topics and the account but I guess he sent some offers before we got to him.
So the ghost offers seem to be the remnants of the banhammer

Ah, that makes sense. Mystery solved.
Maybe I can do better at deleting these notifications when I nuke a spammer account.

OK, I did some work on the code that deletes an account such that it will now clean up these offer message notifiers properly.
Also, I force updated everyone's offer message notifiers to be correct. It's likely there were other phantoms in the system given that it wasn't getting updated correctly.
