I will be off to Papua new Guinea for 60 days, being involved in a mission trip from the end of April. Currently attached to Youth with a Mission and we have a satellite campus in Port Moresby, but I've been volunteering in the Townsville base for almost 3 years.
Please pray for my mother and me, if you're religious. Especially for our safety and protection. It's my FIRST time ever that I'm there and we will be helping with a dental outreach!
My mother will be there for 6 weeks or slightly longer and will go to some villages - not sure where, there are other staff members with more knowledge.
There is a trailer that Ywam owns, which has dental equipment and also we have a medical vessel currently docked in POM.
Thank you all :)
Will report back about our experiences.
If you'd like to support me in different ways, please contact me

It probably won't ease your mind, but the story of Michael Rockafeller's trip/disappearance in PNG is pretty fascinating. From the rumors, don't try to buy the native's sacred art.
