Dislikes: dishonesty, laziness, and overzealous greed

I'm benstylus, and I believe in integrity. Here's how I roll:
|My thoughts on PayPal Friends & Family (previously known as "Gifted).|
If I am buying, I do not like to send gifted PayPal, because it eliminates all buyer protection. If you want gifted PayPal from me, you will be sending first.
As a seller, PayPal is an invaluable service, and as such, I do not begrudge them their fees. I never ask for gifted PayPal, and I also never ask the buyer to cover PayPal's fees. That's just part of the cost of doing business.
I ship worldwide, but I do not falsify customs forms.
Please do not ask me to mark the package as a gift. Goods being traded are no different than goods being bought - Just because you are not paying money for it does not make it a gift. You are still paying for, just in the form of other goods. If you disagree with how heavily your government taxes imported goods, that's something you need to bring up with your government, and not with me. I am not willing to commit a crime (perjury) to help you commit another crime (smuggling and/or tax evasion) just so you can save a few bucks.
The value I list will be as follows:
IF YOU ARE BUYING - the amount on the customs form will always be the amount you are paying (not including shipping) rounded to the nearest dollar.
IF YOU ARE TRADING - the amount I put on the customs form will generally be the smallest of the following:
- the going eBay rate
- the going Amazon rate
- the going VGPC rate
Also, international shipping rates have skyrocketed, so please don't be offended if I decline a trade offer that would normally be a fair deal - once the shipping is factored in, the cost of the trade can often be far more than it's worth. Likewise, I won't take offense if you decline because shipping is just too much.
