What are things that are technically opinions for you,but they are really facts?

I was thinking the other day about movies, music, games, etc...where there are things that (in your mind) are not debatable? Even though they are opinions...they aren't really.
For me, one is that the first 4 albums of Metallica were legendary in their time AND are legendary now. They hold up even today and anyone who says those 4 albums suck are wrong.

Pretty much none for awhile. People are too focused on being right about anything and everything so much so it's made me more cognizant of what I say and fact vs fiction. I try to state opinion versus fact unless I slip up or am being facetious. Frankly I find it's a little embarrassing when someone argues opinion as fact in earnest.
Now the large majority of people don't, but it doesn't always come across that way in text... like some people accused me on Super Metroid in noname's thread.

I believe to my core that a big part of the awesome for those early Metallica albums was due to Dave Mustaine. He is definitely beloved in the metal world ; but I don't feel it's as much as it should be. He deserves more for his whole contribution to metal.

Rust in Peace is better than any one Metallica album, but the Kill em All/Ride the Lightning/Master of Puppets run is better than most Megadeth as a whole. Peace Sells and Rust are the only 2 perfect Megadeth albums, rest is haphazard at best.

For me and music, my opinion is that Immolation is far more deserving of the level of success that Cannibal Corpse has as an old school death metal band still releasing music. CC just got lucky.

I get it. Honestly, GTZ went from being one of the most argumentative sites I ever knew...to the most sensible. Seriously, it's not perfect but it feels way ahead of most other online places with people who have different opinions but still aren't accusing each other of wanting to physically kill the other for those beliefs (as ridiculous as that crap is).

People have lost their minds on most sites. I know relatives that don't speak to each other anymore because of crap they post on social media.
Thankfully this place is pretty mellow except for the occasional flare up, ya know, like hemorrhoids.

I'll put myself in the minority here but I actually enjoyed Death Magnetic, not on par with the first few albums obviously, but I felt it was closer to a return to form after the garbage of St. Anger etc.

Haha...I fully understand. I think I'm one of the nine people in existence that liked Danzig's techno/dubstep albums! :D

Death Magnetic is pretty good, Hardwired has some true bangers though. Spit Out the Bone is up there with their greatest songs.
