Ive been on the great gametz for 11 years and I have never seen a new game being sold on here multiple times and around the $45 range (under the msrp of $60+tax) like I have Super Mario RPG for the switch.
I bought 2 myself. My question to you is:
*1. Are people not liking it?
*2. Are people just beating it and wanting to recoup some of there money back?
What would be some of the reasing behind this? I personally love the game myself!
Thanks in advance and have a Merry Christmas! (Or whatever you may celebrate)ππ

The game has no replay value to me and scoring high in the mini games isn't something I care to do. I personally found the game to be acceptable but not great. The extra bosses near the end and overall game only takes like 10-15 hours to complete. Some people may not like the slow turn based nature of the game or timing attacks.

It seems pretty common for newer games actually. The ones that are popular anyway. A quick search shows that Spider-Man 2 has been sold multiple times already as well.

People jump in early because they want to play the new stuff then sell it asap to get the most value they can for it. Not a bad way to go if you aren't a collector or managing a library

A lot of people probably got it fairly cheap to begin with thanks to the CVS/HSN deals.

For me it ended up being a nostalgia purchase, but not something I feel overwhelmingly hyped about playing. It doesn't keep me wanting to keep going and going for some reason, maybe it's a me problem. I was debating trading it for something else

It would have been a day 1 nostalgia purchase for me if it weren't for the $60 price tag.
$30 for sure, $40 maybe but $60 for a game that doesn't really do much different than the original and just gas a fresh coat of paint? It just was too high for me.
It's current resale value of around $40 kind of helps reinforce my decision.

It's a great, fun game. No replay value and takes about 12 hours to complete.
