Liquidating Collection - Advice?

Sup dudes- I'm an old hipster member of the website and been building up a pretty meaty collection over the years.

The time has come in waves to start liquidating and making room - for babies!

But I def don't have the time or energy to be an Ebay warrior. And ideally I'd love to post the whole thing here and just whoever wants what just grabs it, but I don't have any clue how to price or picture fairly. I've seen folks do "10% Off VGPC" and things like that, but what's the "right" or " recommended " approach

First wave would prob be boxed n64 collection, about 60-70 games (all the GHs)

thanks in advance!

Be prepared to discount more than 10% to sell of large chunks quickly.

Easiest way is to just take pictures of lots and share with community.

If you want to take time to make lists and price it out it can net you more money especially if you sell the games individually.

I'd be interested in N64 boxed. Feel free to DM when you have it.

Just post a list, and use VGPC as a guide on the pricing.

Looking forward to seeing the list!

Try Facebook market place and Craigslist (i,think?) If you want to deal locally too and avoid the hassle of shipping. There are some other local apps but depending on where you live, may or may not be useful.

Some good advice here. I'd also take a good look at the N64 list and looking forward to potentially other systems.

Whether I buy something or not, looking forward to seeing the collection. Seeing those old collections, I'm like a kid in a candy store :D

If you are looking unload all of it all at once, reach out to Forgotten Freshness. You'll be able to get more money parting it out and selling yourself, but there's something to be said for one and done.

It's not a great option, but if you're looking to unload stuff rather than maximize profit I sold stuff cheap(ish) locally after nobody here showed any interest. The stuff was "worth" a lot more, but you gotta find someone willing to buy it. Probably sold stuff at 60-70% of ebay prices. Bundled a lot. The prices have likely doubled if not more since then, but I've moved 2-3 times since those unloads and didn't have to tow it all and store it each time. No regrets.

If you have enough time and if your collection is valuable enough it would be best to sell your games on your own if you’re looking to get the maximum return. A bulk deal really only makes sense if you don’t have time or if you value the convenience enough.
