Deleting stuff works if you don’t have a data cap or aren’t close to hitting it. I have a data cap and it’s the dumbest thing. If you have an external HDD, download it once and move it so you don’t have to download it again. There may be a patch that releases in between, but that download should almost always be smaller than downloading the whole game.

I just tried to install FF rebirth. It directed me to clean up. Quite a few huge games I don’t play but thought were cleaned- like Death Stranding (fail) and FF XVI. Not usually a big deal.

Lunar got me to start a new playthrough. Not on Playstation, unfortunately, I've got a 6800XT in my rig, it'd be a federal crime to play it in Performance Mode on a console. We pixel peep at 1440p@120fps. Waiting for Sony to say Square can release the new game on Windows, I'm not buying videogames until November 26th anyways.

Any advice on additional storage for PS5?Just buy one of the cheaper 1tb compatible Nvmes for the PS5 games.
If you play mostly PS4 games then basically any external drive will work.

Looks like Soniy is working with the dudes behind the PCSX2 emulator to make it easier to bring more PS1, PS2 and PSP games to PS5.

Man, this is drivine me nuts. Anytime I put my ps5 into rest, it won't wake up from PS Portal or remote play on PC. Don't understand why. As soon as I turn it on physically, works fine.

You may have to hold the power button until portal restarts.

Kind of psyched. I backed the Kickstarter for this a million years ago. It was one of my favorite PC games in the 90s. The PC demo was good. I hope the controls for console are good...

You can get 500GB/1TB external SSDs pretty cheap now just to add room. I have 2 external SSDs (both 500GB I think) and I just throw the larger games I may not be playing now but also don't want to re-DL later to. I don't even keep them always plugged in. But I don't keep things that I know I won't play for months...I just keep current things on the internal storage, and "maybe/soon" things on external storage so that if I do play them I don't have to DL.
For like $25 you can get 500GB external (or more?) and I'd just start with that. I love the idea of having terabytes and not have to DL anything again but I have to imagine the PS5 gets sluggish loading the library and also checking for auto-updates for all titles it sees. But I dunno, I'm totally fine with the system storage.

I wouldn't waste money on external, you can get 1TB and 2TB internal gen4 m.2 and just play any game you want.

good for some people. Too little too late for me. I've already committed to playing on my PS1, PS2, and PS3. I even bought a retrotink upscaler and a 19" sony LCD.

I bought it yesterday but havent played it yet. I had 5000+ ($25 worth) of PS Stars points that I hadnt noticed so I used them to buy HD2. I never expected the PS rewards system would work tbh.
that's pretty awesome actually.
I plan on playing soon. It's installed, just need to find some damn time

Helldivers 2 is definitely a type of game I'll play when I get a steamdeck, or if MS ever makes windows more gaming friendly with quick resume and navigation for windows handhelds. Could just imagine booting it up for a bit for a quick play. As it stands now I just play the big games on the big screen.

Is CDKeys legit? They're currently selling digital codes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II on PS4/PS5 for $14.69 but I don't know if they're one of those shady sites.

I use CDKeys for PSN / Xbox Game Pass sub codes sometimes. They’re legit. You get the code like right away via email once payment clears.

I've used then with no issue. However they are not "legit" often times codes are bought on different markets or with stolen Credit Cards. Any site listed here is a legit key seller:

CD Keys, G2A, Kinguin,Eneba, countless others and yes, CD KEYS is not legit. You'll most likely get the game but they are not legit. Indie game developers have said you're better of pirating games than buying from the non legit sites.

CDKeys is great, I use them for Game Pass and PSN subs. Just read clearly what you're buying as they sell some international-only codes as well as codes for some demos (not full games) too. But everything I've bought from them for US or non-regional has worked great.
