Description
Many adventure gamers, including myself, enjoyed this game very much.
If you are a fan of this game, then I suggest that this wonderful GOTY (Game of the Year) Edition be the one to have in your collection. I know I was gleeful with joy when my copy arrived, when I saw all the extra goodies it had.
I am not going to go into detail about the game itself because I have written a review for the original retail version. You can go here if you want more details.
I am going to instead talk more about the extra items this GOTY Edition offers.
The first is the poster. This is a nice looking poster of the front of the university, where the mammoth statues were. I don't know if this is the same poster that comes with every copy, or if they include different posters with each copy.
The other item is the bonus disc. On this disc is the following sections: "Making of" Syberia movie, Syberia Game Trailer, Syberia Game Teaser, From 2D to 3D, and Desktop Wallpaper.
The "Making of" movie was really interesting. Most of it was an interview with the game creator B. Sokal, as well as some interviews with sketchers and animators that worked on the game.
I also found the 2D to 3D section to be enjoyable. In this slide show you can see the sketches, the basic animation set-up, and the final game scene of many scenes from the game.
There is a Syberia 2 game, and another GTZ member has written a review for it.
