I know there are only like 3 people here who trade movies but I am going to try anyway! I added a bunch of Blu Rays and DVDs to my available list. Looking to trade for other Blu Rays and 4K movies (would only consider trading for DVDs if a show/movie is not available on Blu Ray). Check my list and PM me if you'd like to make a swap.. thanks!

Do you have any movies with games in them?

Edit: Actually yeah, I just saw a couple of things I'm interested in. I'm building up a trade list so I'll PM you when that's done.

It has been a few years since I traded any physical movies here. There are many thrift shops in my area that sell DVDs and even Blu-rays for less than the cost of mailing a single movie. Unless the deal is for multiple movies or a rare movie, trading just isn't worth it. I am on Paperbackswap and SwapaDVD, and I no longer mail out a single credit item.

A couple of years ago Goodwill opened a "Second Chance Outlet" near me. Items that didn't sell at the regular Goodwill price are placed in large bins and everything is sold at a flat rate by weight. The number of DVDs and even Blu-rays of popular titles available is surprising. I buy almost every Blu-ray I find and take them to a used bookstore to trade for movies I want.

FoxHack - I don't think any have games on them. But yeah sounds good let me know!

Tony - totally agree about trading single movies. I prefer to trade atleast 5 at a time if not more. You can send bulk movies media mail and it's pretty cheap. The problem is finding someone else who wants to do a larger trade.

Yes. It is next to impossible to find several movies offered by the same person who is willing to trade for several of yours. Even finding two on each side is difficult. A few times there has been a list posted on Freebie Forum that includes a movie I would like, but seldom is that one movie worth the cost of the postage to me. There are so many thrift stores and library sales in my area that I can get most media items pretty cheap. There is also a used book/movie/game store not too far from me that trades 2-for-1, so I take a lot of items there.

I am a User on Paperbackswap and SwapaDVD, and about at the point I will no longer send an item worth only one credit. Even a two credit Request is barely worth it when high volume Users sell credits at $3 each. On rare occasions I will send single items and tell myself I'm putting it in the hands of someone who really wants it. A few weeks ago I mailed a single book that looked to me like it was in like new condition and expected the Requestor would be pleased. The receiver complained about the condition and since I didn't have any proof I had to eat the cost of the postage.

I only swap sealed movies on those sites for reasons like that.

I just stick to the thread where people offer multiple movies from a list. Ordering stuff and getting it from a random trader always ends badly.

I'm just really awful about actually asking for things, I'm surprised I haven't been banned yet...

A big problem I've found with Blu Rays is that the quality control is absolutely awful. Companies try to get cute and stack discs on top of each other instead of spending another 25 cents on a flipper case and it causes damage. I buy a fair amount of movies/TV shows and have received quite a few damaged discs even when buying brand new. It's really frustrating and blows my mind that 15+ years after Blu Rays were released that they still can't consistently produce them without damage. Not to mention, quite a few of the early Blu Rays from 2006-2008 (Liongate specifically IIRC) have already failed. The disc may look perfect but when trying to play it you will have issues. The original House of 1000 Corpses is notorious for this.
