I need a super cheap Nintendo DS. I have a few games I need to test, so I don't care about condition or model. It only needs to work. Let me know what you got.

I have a DS Lite with only one working speaker (IMO there's no noticeable difference in how it sounds) and I put a piece of tape on the motherboard to block the LED.
edit: on second thought, above poster's DS is probably better suited for this. But in any case, if anyone wants my DS just let me know.

If you are just testing the games to sell them, we do have a few other GTZers in Virginia. One of them might be close enough to meet up in person and let you test them.

Honestly though unless they are foreign DSi-enhanced (which are region locked), I would recommend testing them on 3DS, as many older bootlegs were able to be detected and are unplayable on 3DS. I say older, because I'm not sure if DS bootlegs got better and have workarounds now because I haven't received a bootleg ds game in a while. The last one I got was a Super Princess Peach, which did not work on a 3DS and I got a refund from ebay after telling the seller off (because apparently he had two for sale and the one in the picture was not the one he sent).

I picked up an Ecclesia bootleg for comparative purposes at one point and it fired up in the 3DS just fine

This ds lite works. It will let me touch the screen to begin then the touch screen is not working. Otherwise everything seems to work. No touch it's golden.

As long as I can plug a game in and make sure it works, that's cool with me. Feel free to send an offer.
