I'm looking for a Super street fighter II PCB for my arcade game. My marvel vs capcom board kicked the bucket (green screen) and I want to make it a SF2 game now. Looking to spend around $200 for an American super street fighter II b board pcb but will consider other SF2 games that are jamma with a decent price.

MvC is a CPS2 game, so the battery needs to be changed, or the board will eventually “suicide”. There are multiple ways to revive it these days.

I've read about it. I'm prob just going to ebay the MvC to pay for the SF2 board.

I have located one on craigslist of all places. Its not a super street fighter but a championship edition pcb. If anyone has a Super street fighter 2 B board, I would really rather have that and will pay. Thanks.

It's cool seeing interest in Arcade PCBs on TZ. I've always wanted to get into them, but it just feels so daunting.

Good luck on your search for Super Street Fighter II!

I dabble with the 3/4 scale machines a bit but I haven't crossed over to the full-size arcades, mostly due to their weight/size

@datanuke The 1up machines, or Japanese candy cabs? If you are considering it, I would try to track down one of the candy cabs. They are more compact and the pcbs are easier to swap in and out. I have an old Sega Astro City, but there are many different varieties. Granted, you will be playing sitting on a stool rather than standing up like the original USA style cabs.

A1ups, Atgames, and the like. I'm also a fan of the 1:6 scale New Wave collection. I'd love to get a candy cab but I don't know where to find one for a reasonable price. Apparently they were practically free about 10 years ago but word got out about them and their prices have skyrocketed.

I do have the Egret II mini and Astro City mini which will have to hold me over until a full size becomes a reality for me. I'd gladly kick an A1up out the door to make room for a candy.

For sure. Save up a rainy day fund and when you come across one, definitely pounce on it. Some versions have a monitor rotation option, so you can play shmups. Space is always going to be a factor, but optimal set up would be one vertical oriented cab and one horizontal.

@Yoshi I still have that SuperGun you sent me over 20 years ago :) I ended up using a custom one made by Mattman, as I was able to make my own 6 button joysticks.

I have a few of the machines here I don't play anymore if anyone would be interested, I have a smash n drive by sega but can't figure out where the horn plugs into the main board and the horn is the start button lol. everything else runs on it. I have a custom built 42" screen TMNT that i don't play anymore that fully works. I have an empty KI2 cab that I have no plans on doing anything with if anyone would be interested in putting it together. A few others if anyone would be interested.

I used to, sold all mine save Robotron. Just not worth fussing with the monitors which will eventually be impossible to replace IMO.

Nice! After that I went PCB-less for several years before finally getting a Blast City. After moving to a bigger house, I added an Atomiswave sit down to it.
