We had a deal trading his unopened Excitebike 64 for my WWF Warzone and 1080. He started asking me to send first because he was ripped off his Sega Dreamcast on another site. At the time I had about 40 trades, so, of course, I said "no". Finally, he seemed to understand that he has to prove his trustworthiness and agreed to send first. After a couple of emails that said something like "I'll send this Saturday" and "I had my mom send it, but I don't know which class" (can't you ask your mom?), all communication ceased. I sent about 3 email within 3 weeks, after not getting Excitebike. I got no reply from him, so I emailed him and said that I'm voiding the trade. I deleted the trade afterwards. He had about 10 pending trades that are gone now. Probably, for the same reason. It's been more than a month, and his game never came. I think he is out to cheat people. I am lucky that I didn't send first, so I didn't lose anything, but this is clearly a bad trader.

Robert Cilio is using another account now. He is going by the name of David Price. His email address is stormgamer@juno.com. He created a fake trade with himself using the two accounts. How do I know this? David Price's mailing address is:

David Price
162 N.Charlotte apt.C
pottstown Pa 19464

The address that he gave me is the same mailing address that "Robert Cilio" gave me. Robert's email address is spikepiledriver@juno.com.

How did I get this address? Well, "Robert" has stopped responding to my regular email address so I sent "David" an email using an account that he did not recognize as being mine. I offered a game for one of his listed items. The account is not one that I regularly use. It is a hot mail account. Of course he wanted me to send first.
Do not trade with David, Robert, Gregory or whatever his real name is. You will get ripped off. I did.

For the complete history of this trade gone bad see the report on Robert Cilio.

* WARNING JULY 1 *

How did I get this? Well he has stopped resonding to my regular address so I sent "David" an email using an account that he did not recognize as being mine. Of course he wanted me to send first. This is the address that he gave me. It is the same address that "Robert" gave me.

* June 23 *

I'm just dropping you a note to let everyone know that Robert Cilio aka spikepiledriver@juno.com has not held up his end of a bargain that I have with him. We agreed to ship on the same day. I did. He did not. My items shipped out on a Saturday. He had them on Monday. He received my stuff within 3 days. He told me so himself. That was almost three weeks ago. 20+ Emails later and I still do not have my items. Here is the address that he gave me.

162 N. Charlotte Apt C
Pottstown, PA 19464

I have asked the person that lives at that address to call the Police and the Postal Service immediately if another package with that name arrives at the Apt. Apparently he goes by the place to pick up items. Someone else (an unsuspecting neighbor) signs for the package. The phone number that he gave me was not his. This is not his address.

After many email exchanges he now tells me that his last name is not Cilio but is actually Gregory and that he lives on Beech Street. He also informed me that he got the idea on how to get "free" games from someone that he knows in Pottsdown that has ripped people off many times over.

Whatever you do, do not ship first. Wait for him to ship his package to you. I am warning every person that has a pending trade deal in progress with this 17 year old thief.

He now claims that he has shipped my games (On June 14). It is now June 23 and I still have nothing from him. He said that he paid $2.50 for shipping and that he used one of those stores that offer mailing services. He said that he cannot remember the name of the store. The package should have weighed about 3 pounds. I find it hard to believe that it was only $2.50 for shipping. You do the math. He has no proof that he did ship. No receipt. No confirmation number. Nothing. I asked that he send the package insured with Delivery Confirmation but he did not do so. This was agreed upon from the beginning.

I have received reports from a few other folks that have been swindled by this person.

He also told me that he would be dropping his email account this month and he has given me no other way to contact him.

If you have any other information about this thief please send it to me via email if at all possible.

* Update June 25 *

Interesting, "Robert" changed his State of residence From PA to NJ on his page. He changed his default page to http://gametz.com/us.... His account is currently innactive. He logged onto Gametz today.

I still do not have the games that he said that he mailed on June 14th.

* Update June 27 *

Weird stuff. Robert changed his address to Trenton, NJ and has reactivated the account. There was a new pending trade created yesterday to a guy in PA. Today is shows up as a completed trade. Wow, that's service! Robert must have delivered it himself. Sure looks odd to me. Meanwhile, I still have received nothing from the fella. Both accounts are JUNO accounts. The trade occured with an account that was created on the June 25. The writing style really familiar. Odd, that the guy talks about being ripped off and pressing charges and yet trades with someone with a bad report. Hmmmmm...

I still do not have the games that he said that he mailed on June 14th.

* Update June 30 *

Still nothing. Today is the day that this guy is to give me his real name, address, phone number and uncle's name (long story). I have some real interesting news regarding this guy and will be posting it if he does not do as he promised.

Well he did not do as he promised. What he did do was drop his juno account. He now hides behind the name "David Price" His email account is stormgamer@juno.com. The mailing addresses are the same. There were other clues that tipped me off but I'll save that for another day.
