I haven’t seen anything on here like with the steam
Deck. I picked one up yesterday for 475, figured at that price was worth giving it a shot. Anyone have any feedback with it?

There are a ton of issues and returns so far. Good luck hope you don't get a lemon.

This thing intrigued me from the start, and I considered getting one. Most of the issues come from the SD card reader. There is a way to replace the SSD with a larger one. I'm curious to hear your thoughts!

I just booted it up, installing steam on it, yes the sd card I read if it’s performance mode could fry it, but I don’t think I’ll need it in the mode, just playing Civ and rpg games. But it has alot of internal memory. I’ll keep you guys posted

I picked up a deck, didn't care for Linux or the battery life. Decided to get a laptop then they announced this thing. It really intrigues me but now I have a nice laptop. Would be interested in hearing your thoughts on it

So far last night when my daughter went to bed, I was able to do some basic stuff, got Xbox game pass and steam. I’ll say trails in the sky looks amazing, it’s quiet , sound is good. I tried to play Civ 6 on it and it wanted me to play via touch screen, but I’ll map it tonight to play normally. But so far it’s pretty cool. Not 800$ cool yet. But it is legit a mini computer, I just thought it was a different version a steam deck tbh. But I’ll play around more tonight

It's great that this thing exists, the Steam Deck needs competitors. I am going to wait for an RDNA 3 Steam deck I think, if one does indeed release.. you have to think they are working on a Steam Deck 2.

Was it on sale somewhere? I wouldn't mind grabbing one for that price.

Looks like Lenovo is jumping into the ring but it will have the new Phoenix chips from AMD... so I may not have to wait long for a RDNA 3 portable.
