from what i remember, the easiest way to get them in bulk was actually just straight up buying them...they're cheap, so you can buy a ton buy just selling a couple gems

I remember there was an area with several bokoblins on horses who would shoot arrows at you. If you just stood in the same spot and looked down, most of the arrows wouldn't hit you and would just land on the ground. So you'd stand there for a little while, then run around and collect all the arrows that missed, and heal as needed. They may have patched it though. Your best bet it to check Youtube and look for more recent uploads.

Splatoon 3 Sizzle Season Announcement Trailer:

https://www.youtube....

There's a lot of stuff packed in here! The two brand new weapons look awesome! New PvP levels, new Salmon Run level, new catalog of course, and some new Challenge mode!

While I'm most excited for a new Salmon Run level, because that's my favorite game mode, that level looks SUPER cramped. I'm thinking it's going to be one of the more challenging levels, like Marooner's Bay.

I even marked off the area on my map with an arrow icon so that I knew here to go when I wanted arrows. But it was later on in the game.

@Kommie Here's a video for an earlier place in the game to farm arrows. (Otherwise, I think defeated enemies deop them sometimes)

Edit: oops, just realized I didn't put the link.

Speaking with Game Informer, series producer Eiji Aonuma confirms that Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom's style will be the blueprint for future Zelda games. In explaining this, he compared it to the effect that Ocarina of Time had on the series in 1998.

So how do we feel about that?

Didn’t they say the same crap when BOTW came out? And isn’t TOTK just an extension of BOTW since it’s set in the same universe and has the same overall gameplay style just more enhanced and fleshed out?

Great! Can't wait for the Switch successor installment! They did it to Metroid, why not Zelda?

Yes and yes.

I would like them to produce a new traditional 2-d Zelda, or farm it out to a good indie company. At least Blossom Tales is getting a sequel.

Nintendo just sent out an e-mail that Pac-Man 99 is leaving the Nintendo Switch Online service in October. If you buy the Deluxe DLC you can continue playing it offline against 99 CPUs.

The BOTW/TOTK style is pretty much what all the other 3D Zeldas were trending toward anyhow, there were just too many hardware limitations when they were released to make it happen. Even going so far back as OoT, they've all had a fairly "open world" vibe to them and, while still very linear games, always placed Link in large areas where you could more-or-less explore as you pleased until you completed your task. I'd say this is the natural evolution for what Nintendo always wanted for Zelda, and given the work put in, I can't blame them for sticking to this blueprint.

I will say that I'd like to see permanent weapons make a comeback. If other open world games can make it work, so can Zelda. Maybe mix some breakable weapons in there, but otherwise just have weapons that need to be upgraded over time to become more formidable as the story progresses/world opens up. I don't mind the breakable weapon shtick too much but in other games, I like to be able to try out a bunch and stick to my favorites. I don't necessarily need the small "survival" element in these games.

All that said, they better be talking solely 3D Zelda and not be suggesting there will never be another top-down 2D entry. I'm loving TOTK but playing it has already made me clamor for a traditional 2D Zelda too. Or even a more open world 2D Zelda could be cool, I just really hope they still release games with the classic vibe of the old school games. And keep them pixel art, not Link's Awakening remake style.

Oh, they have definitely been building towards this. Look at Link Between Worlds. The fact that you could get weapons in any order and tackle dungeons in any order was definitely a precursor to this. It's also important to note that this is the realization of the original idea of The Legend of Zelda on NES. Dropping you into a huge open world where you can go almost anywhere if you are good/brave enough and tackle challenges in whatever order you choose.

In the original Zelda, you could clear the 8 standard dungeons and get to Ganon without ever picking up a sword.

You then have to quit or die because you need a sword to defeat Ganon.

You can do it in both the normal game and in the second quest.

So, Breath of the Wild. Do I really just have to wander around now and take pictures of landscapses now in order to progress the story?

You don't need to progress the story, but if you want to see it then yes (or youtube it).

I don't even remember that part from the BOTW story, so it probably doesn't take too long. Although I do feel like BOTW and TOTK were created with the idea that players would want to explore and not just rush it, so that bit probably didn't seem so bad considering there's probably 600 things to discover in between each landscape.

Blossom Tales II released last summer. I haven't tried it yet though.

There is no right way. You can go anywhere and do anything. Some areas are blocked by weather, but there are buffs you can make and armor you can earn/buy. Heck, you could go attack the end boss right now if you wanted to.

I understand this concept. But clearly, I have never played this before and certainly can't go to the last boss right now.

Generally speaking, Zora is viewed as the first "dungeon" in BOTW as the game basically tells you to go to kokriko village and Zoran domain is the closest divine beast from there. I also think so.eome in town mentions Zoran domain but I can't recall.

As another user pointed out, you don't have to. Turn around and go anywhere you'd like to go
