Playing Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga for the first time on NSO’s GBA and am already loving the humor. This bit made me audibly giggle. The Koopa Cruiser got blasted out of the sky and this is what the little guy is most worried about:

I was gonna get Mario golf but realized it was the used one at $45. So I got 2 of octo ii. If I can even sell one at $40 getting octo ii for like $10 is a steal. Thanks!
Good luck getting a new game from them.

Wow, the Mario movie has eclipsed $700 million already worldwide. I thought it would do well, but I didn't imagine it would be one of the top grossing movies of the year like it looks like it may end up. It could eclipse $1 billion in a week or two (month total).

I'll be honest, I have no idea what Pulseman is. Never even heard of it, which is strange. I'm gonna give it a go right now.

Interesting the Genesis gets a Street Fighter release. Can we control it with 6 buttons, or are we stuck with the crappy 3 button control?

Two more surprises:
Free game trial is Star Wars Republic Commando. Is this the first trial for an old port?
There is a new Tetris Maximus Cup event this weekend. When was the last one? I haven't seen one in ages... did I miss some?
Also, Advanced Wars Reboot drops next week?

@KCPenguins Not sure about Street Fighter, admittedly not much of a fighting game guy.
Oddly enough, I was just considering downloading Republic Commando on Steam because it's already in my library from a past Star Wars bundle. I was somewhat intrigued but wasn't in the mood at the time, but I just downloaded the trial on Switch and will give it a go when it launches on the 20th. If I dig it, I'll honestly probably just download it on Steam haha
In other Switch news, just realized the Oregon Trail remake got a new weekly challenge, Night Terrors, that sends you off as pioneers with an empty wagon, whose morale lowers every night (they're all afraid of the dark) and it rains every day. That's brutal. Apparently there's some new DLC coming out for it too. I've really been enjoying the Oregon Trail remake, it's a great progression of the very simple game all us 80s/90s kids remember from those grade school PCs most classes had.

I assume it depends on the version, but the ones I played it was pretty easy to complete the trip. At least one person will die 9/10 times though... that was the best part for some players, those us of playing the "educational" game when green screens and macs were new. "Taught" us about dysentery and colera, fording and such.

Few weeks ago Tetris Maximus Cup was for Kirby DreamLand. Got an email that the points are easier to get too. I have missed 3-4, hope they let us use tickets to purchase them as they did once in the past. Otherwise what are the daily tickets for?

@nonamesleft Definitely possible. I could never do it, but I saw kids do it. The remake is still pretty unforgiving, but you can pick up from the last major landmark you make it to if you die. And there are a bunch of different modes you can play to get different experiences. There is one where your party will be faced with no obstacles whatsoever, and you can just float through the trail. I think it's called something along the lines of "the scenic route" or something similar, just a mega "easy mode".
You can also choose different characters with randomly generated skills for your party, that change up each play through. Just fun stuff.

I wonder how difficult it would be to save them all throughout the journey.

I think I'll watch gameplay of it on Youtube. Feeling a bit nostalgic.
It's interesting to me that people are still playing Oregon Trail. Some games are just classics, here to stay I guess.

@nonamesleft I think the original game was just the straight Oregon Trail game, no other modes or anything. The remake is vastly different in that regard, and it has updated (pixel art) graphics, so it's also visually new. You can play the original version too if I'm not mistaken, but that's only a tiny, tiny part of the full package.

Blasphemous 2! Hopefully it's somehow not a Switch exclusive. These things usually aren't.

Have never even heard of Blasphemous 1. It looks very neat... is it another one of those unforgivable, mega hard games?
