It’s mostly gameplay. The cutscenes are just front and back loaded. It’s so much better than other Kojima games in that regard. After chapter 2 you’ll go long stretches without any cutscenes.

Lol yeah by gameplay I obviously meant walking and making deliveries. It’s a weird game. Takes far too long to get going, but it’s very unique and unique isn’t always a bad thing. It was an interesting experience. I wouldn’t play it again, but I’m still glad I gave it a shot because it does quite a few things well and the soundtrack is sooo good!

Not sure if I’ll play the sequel though as much as I love Kojima. Don’t think I have another 40-50 hours of walking around carrying boxes dealing with black goo babies in me heh.

What was Sony's involvement in this game anyway? Did they just pay Kojima for console exclusivity? I feel like it wouldn't have mattered much if it did release on Xbox. This ain't a system seller.

They paid Kojima for console exclusivity I believe. The rest was basically him running buck wild. Like the old Penny-Arcade strip said. Soon he’ll be jacking off sharks for 50 hours and we’ll happily pay to experience it.

You mean from that time PSN was down for like a month straight? I think I went with LittleBigPlanet.
I haven't played Killzone Liberation or InFamous before, but I plan to check out both via PS+ Premium. So many games, so little time.

Yeah for sure. Remedy should probably move Alan Wake II. It's going to get buried otherwise and I'd hate to see it bomb.
And Baldur's Gate III comes out August 31st so those October games might as well not even exist to me because that's all I'll be playing in October.
