I’ve never played Golden Sun, I’ll be sure to give it a go whenever it drops on NSO. The screenshots do look pretty (just not as pretty as the 10/10 Minish Cap wink )

Just played for another hour. The biggest differences from the first game are the day/night cycle and the water travel. You can switch between day and night by just pressing the ZR button. I used this to finish the first side quest as Throne, to make a thief appear. While on the canoe, I came to a grotto or something with a danger level 34. Quickly turned back around lol.

Golden Sun was awesome. I beat The Lost Age a couple years ago recently on my DS with my original cart. Never played the DS version (it's sitting on the shelve).

I would love a new version of Golden Sun.

Playing Minish Cap again. It's been a long time, but I hope the hat shuts the fudge up. Not quite as bad as Navi, but I don't need interrupted with dialog explaining what I was trying to go do before the damn hat stopped me in my tracks. Brings back flashbacks of LISTEN!!1!1!!

Aside from that this is probably the most charming Zelda game.

Minish Cap and the Oracle games are some of the best classic Zelda games.

Pretty excited to try the Oracle games. I only played one for a bit, never the other. Back on Minish Cap, yet another game that could've greatly benefited from the GBA having 4 face buttons like the SNES. For such a great system, that was a terrible choice.

just beat the Sea of Stars demo. Really good. Looking forward to it as I did the Kickstarter. Will be getting on Steam though.Wow. You backed that? Must have been around 2 years ago.

I was just browsing the rewards, and one of them was particularly interesting to me. They included a copy of The Messenger (same developers I think)

Cool.

I'm playing through Super Mario Land 2 right now. Never played it before for some reason. Thought I'd just play for a little bit but have already collected 4 of the 6 coins. I'll probably finish it tomorrow.

6 Golden Coins is great. Wario Land (Super Mario Land 3) is my favorite though growing up.

The bosses are interesting too. I don't want to give anything away, so I won't say anything about them. It wouldn't be a major spoiler, but anyway.

I've said this before, but it's been too long since a Wario Land game was released.

The squeaky soundtrack!!! I missed this game so much!! Definitely playing through again. I got this game the day it came out as a kid and played through it soooo many times.

I did miss that soundtrack the most though I’m realizing

Any particular favorite tracks?

I don't get it.

On another note, who'd they switch the perspective on the map screen in Advanced Wars Reboot?

I fully expected Advance Wars to be full price, but I really don't like it. I know it's two games. I know they are rebuilt from the ground up. And I know they are awesome games. But it feels like it should be a $30-$40 eShop game, not a full priced $60 game.

It's been $60 since before it got delayed. Wait 7 months and you can buy it for $40.

I don't think you will see $40 until possibly Black Friday if then.
