Might as well get it started. Who's looking forward to it? I personally think that it could beat PS5, that is if they don't screw up. They need a basic UI, more first party titles, and focus only on gaming. They own the license to Rare games, we need to see new Conkers, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, etc. They did alright with Killer Instinct, I'll give them that, but they're sitting on a lot of games that needs remade, remastered, and sequels.
As far as I know, it's slightly more powerful than the PS5, which isn't a big deal. But what is a big deal is that it will come with more storage. XBSX will have 1TB, which I admit, is not much by today's standards. The PS5 will have 825GB, which is ridiculous. I'm guessing that the next gen games will be around 100gb or more in size on average. If that is the case, I expect the discs will be on 4k UHD blu-rays.

I'll counter and say it's amazing at $0 a month. I've only used it for like three games so far. Hoping to find more value in it as my kids get older.

I don’t have time to experiment. I did that years ago.

I'm definitely not cheap. I just spent $230 for 4 mint complete PlayStation games. Not to mention the other several hundred I've been splurging on old games recently.

Yoy can be cheap in one area and still overspend in another.

I was saying people are cheap if they dont feel GP is "worth it" at $3 a month. Whether or not they actually spend the money on it is a different thing entirely, but I find it hard to believe that most people here don't do something stupid with more than $3 of their money at least once a month.

I don't buy everything that is a value for its price. There are tons of things, gaming and otherwise, that are a great value and I don't have the money or the space to buy all of them, nor do I have the time or desire to buy them to flip.

I don't find GP to be worth it this year.... Next year stands a much better shot IMO. Assuming I still have an Xbox then I will probably re sub.

Beat Plague Tale Requiem last night. I liked the overall story quite a bit but the actual game and gameplay were not as fun as the first game. I knocked the difficulty down to "Narrative" for a few sequences and even then I still died 10+ times in a row because the game only expects you to take a very specific sequence of actions to proceed. Super lame.

FWIW I did play it on GP and that "saved" me $60. I loved the first one and would have certainly bought this otherwise.

Man that's weird because Longhorn said Gamepass doesn't have any AAA new games on it.

I would tend to agree, when it comes to COD players the only game they buy is whatever COD game is out that year. I have a few friends that only play COD and that's why they have an Xbox, same with a number that only have a PlayStation for COD and nothing else. You look on there shelves and it's 95% COD with Madden or NHL sprinkled in.

My brother is an example of this, he has a group of 15-20 people he has been playing COD with for 10+ years and that's all they play. I was shocked my Brother loaded up GT7 and played the hell out of that for awhile. Though I don't think he cared for Vanguard.

I used to rag on people that only play CoD or Madden and still call themselves gamers (one of my nephews was like that), as if being a gamer is anything to boast about. Now I don't give a crap what other people are playing. There are housewives that only play The Sims and children that only play Minecraft, Roblox or Fortnite. Don't lose sleep over it.

GPU just added Gunfire Reborn and it's AMAZING. Combines so many genres into a fun, funny, great looking shooter with RPG and rogue-lite elements. It's one of those games where you can play a level on your lunch break or sink 3 hours in one sitting (like i did last night, lol). The leveling up system reminds me of Rogue Legacy.

I've been playing Phantom Abyss A LOT, my fiance has gotten into it too. It's extremely hard the first couple of tries, but then you kind of get your groove. I love the whole idea of the game.

I just installed Ghost Song, i'm going to start it tonight. Its supposed to be like a Dark Souls style Metroidvania mashup with gorgeous "ori" style graphics.

Has anyone played SCORN yet? It looks great, visually and people are really giving it good reviews and comparing to a hellish, modern day version of Myst/Riven. I just can't stand adventure games that don't give you at least a little help with the puzzles. I basically just need my brother to come over and he'll help me with the puzzles and i'll help him with the FPS segments and we'll just enjoy the game together.

Hey! Let me know if you want to play Gunfire Reborn. I’ve been playing it every night. Great game. I’m up to around level 70. DukeTrueBlue on Xbox.

Also (other than COD Vanguard and Black Ops 2), i've put hundreds of hours into every COD game since COD4: Modern Warfare. I think at last glance, i put over 450 hours into Cold War and i still play it on the regular. I'm not one of those "Call of Duty" guys. I see it as a good stress reliever and usually the campaign is decent. I really liked the campaign in Vanguard, it got open world in some segments and the story was great. The MP was very lacking or i just wasn't good at it, i don't know. It left me frustrated.
I'm gonna wait til MWII goes down to $40 or lower and i'll pick it up. I'm excited for the story continuation from MW 2019.
It gets a lot of crap, but Infinite Warfare (with the jetpacks and the wall running and sliding) was very entertaining and extremely enjoyable to play. It was just FUN. I'm always up for a goofy science fiction shooter and it hit the nail on the head, plus the zombie mode for Infinite was amazing and extremely well designed.

Not trolling at all, but other than the obvious (like Paw Patrol and Ryan's Racers), what games are ONLY aimed at kids nowadays?
Also the Paw Patrol cart racing game is surprisingly decent and fun. Ive been playing it with my niece. Its no Mario Kart, but's its definitely on the same level as the classic Nicktunes Kart racer.

COD WWII was my fav, but Cold War is right up there I loved the campaign! MW 2019 was also top notch! Vanguard has been my only real recent disappointment. I Would really love another WW2 game like COD WWII though...

Try to go back play the older ones. I realized that i skipped COD 3 which was a 360 launch title. The campaign is FANTASTIC.
I liked the storyline on Vanguard that it was mostly rescue missions and sabotage and espionage (like Cold War) and not huge battles like other WW2 era games.
And yeah, the storyline for COD WWII was great, really well done.
Oh man, you're making me want to replay the campaign for MW 2019, that torture scene was NUTS.
