Might as well get it started. Who's looking forward to it? I personally think that it could beat PS5, that is if they don't screw up. They need a basic UI, more first party titles, and focus only on gaming. They own the license to Rare games, we need to see new Conkers, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, etc. They did alright with Killer Instinct, I'll give them that, but they're sitting on a lot of games that needs remade, remastered, and sequels.
As far as I know, it's slightly more powerful than the PS5, which isn't a big deal. But what is a big deal is that it will come with more storage. XBSX will have 1TB, which I admit, is not much by today's standards. The PS5 will have 825GB, which is ridiculous. I'm guessing that the next gen games will be around 100gb or more in size on average. If that is the case, I expect the discs will be on 4k UHD blu-rays.

Congrats on beating Scorn! I haven't heard of a single other person, even those that like it, who have beaten it.

So people like this game and haven't beat it? It's not that hard.

I think unanimously people like the style but get bored and put it down. People are "speed" running this in 90 minutes and to think about the literal hours I spent wandering aimlessly for just the first half of the game...no thank you. I didn't find the wandering fun.

Started Vampire Survivors today. Thought it was gonna be dumb, 2 hours later, it's not dumb. It's a very basic rogue-lite but it's extremely addictive. The music and graphics are right out of late NES Era castlevania. Super stoked to unlock all the characters.
Also, The Legend of Tianding is great. Reminds me of Comix Zone on Genesis. Very polished with extremely fun combat and platforming. The fact that it's based in Chinese folklore is also great.
Has anybody tried Signalis? It's supposed to be a super old school survival horror game with retro graphics.

It's fun to watch the console kiddos get in on Vamp Survivors. I heard the guy who made it used to work with slot machines; I'd like to think this is sort of his gift back to humanity. Pay $5 once, you get all the dopamine

Insurgency Sandstorm and Gungrave?!
I'm in.
Apparently NORCO is supposed to be one of the best written games of the year but a point and click adventure on console doesn't sound so great.
That new Dune game looks great.

I really want to build a PC for that Dune game for sure!! it looks awesome. I still love playing Supreme Commander 2 from time to time as it's my goto RTS... but I could see this maybe taking that over.

Sounds like he was talking about RTS, and Spice Wars sounds like an RTS. Is that a newer Dune RTS game? I'm guessing it is.

Spice Wars is still technically early access, not sure how far along it is. It's gone on "sale" a couple times at this point.

Yes Spice Wars, it looks like an RTS though maybe a little more technical? Not sure. But I want to play it.

Archvale, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Mind Scanners, Mortal Shell, Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulation, Undungeon, and Warhammer 40k are all set to leave GP at the end of the month.
I recommend Archvale, I beat it a while back, fun title.
I've been meaning to play Mortal Shell, can anyone speak to it, is it good, it's a dark souls clone of sorts, correct?
Also, @Simon_Belmont I tried NORCO on the PC and it was just okay, only did like 1 session and haven't gone back to it.

@Kommie liked mortal shell I think. It’s a souls clone with a “shell” mechanic where you change styles / class / weapons with these shells. Didn’t stick with it too long but it was intriguing.

Yes, I enjoyed it. One of the rare clone like Souls that I liked. Thymesia is another one. Gotta get to Steelrising at some point.
Mortal Shell isn't too long either

Thanks, might have to give it a try ASAP and see. I'm not a big soulslike player, but I'd like to try to get into them more.

You can pretty much just play Alpha Centauri off GoG (I'm assuming they sell it) and you'll get the Dune Civilization experience, space worms and all, but that's turn based obviously

Spice Wars is coming to GPU this month, that's why I brought it up. I posted an article with all the stuff that just got announced for GPU.
The Black Friday sale on the Xbox store is pretty good...I just have everything that's on sale.
The Fallout 4 GOTY for $10 and the RE2/RE3 for $15 are must purchases for those that don't have them.
Might pull the trigger on Evil Dead but Gamestop has it for $20 new.
I have so many games to finish, took a break and I'm working on Hard West now. It's so good but it's super frustrating.

Saw F1 2022 for XSX on "clearance" at gamestop. Price sticker said $65 but they are still doing their 50% off clearance thing so it would be $33.
Would probably have bought it if it were PS5 (which is NOT on clearance), because I have a PlayStation compatible wheel and not an Xbox one.
Sony and MS make me mad with their proprietary garbage for controllers. It's USB - just let me use whatever controller I prefer. Even wireless headphones you have to choose between PS or XB. It's silly.
