Bronze Good Trader Global Trader - willing to trade internationally

Might as well get it started. Who's looking forward to it? I personally think that it could beat PS5, that is if they don't screw up. They need a basic UI, more first party titles, and focus only on gaming. They own the license to Rare games, we need to see new Conkers, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, etc. They did alright with Killer Instinct, I'll give them that, but they're sitting on a lot of games that needs remade, remastered, and sequels.
As far as I know, it's slightly more powerful than the PS5, which isn't a big deal. But what is a big deal is that it will come with more storage. XBSX will have 1TB, which I admit, is not much by today's standards. The PS5 will have 825GB, which is ridiculous. I'm guessing that the next gen games will be around 100gb or more in size on average. If that is the case, I expect the discs will be on 4k UHD blu-rays.

Try to go back play the older ones. I realized that i skipped COD 3 which was a 360 launch title. The campaign is FANTASTIC.
I liked the storyline on Vanguard that it was mostly rescue missions and sabotage and espionage (like Cold War) and not huge battles like other WW2 era games.
And yeah, the storyline for COD WWII was great, really well done.
Oh man, you're making me want to replay the campaign for MW 2019, that torture scene was NUTS.

I Would really love another WW2 game like COD WWII though...

That's actually amusing to me. Remember when COD 4 released and a lot of the hype around it was because they're finally moving on from WWII? And then the following year all the disappointment because Treyarch's COD game was back to WWII?

I'm out of the loop because the last "new" COD game I played was Black Ops 2 on Wii U, but the disc was scratched so when I'd beat the 2nd or 3rd level of campaign it always froze at the same spot during the cutscene and so I never finished it and haven't played one since. I would like to give that game another chance and actually finish it, but looking on Steam and they still are charging $60 for Black Ops 2, and it's a decade old now!

I do have a few of the games from PS+ though, so maybe I'll give them a chance. The only games I actually bought were the Modern Warfare trilogy on Xbox 360. Once the core of Infinity Ward pretty much died and it basically became Treyarch's series, I lost interest in it (just like I did with Halo and Gears of War when those IP got handed over to new studios).

Yeah mine expires in 2 days. I have to wait for mine to expire and then I'll do the trick.
Or I'll do the doritos free month, then the $80 trick.

Has anyone played SCORN yet? It looks great, visually and people are really giving it good reviews and comparing to a hellish, modern day version of Myst/Riven. I just can't stand adventure games that don't give you at least a little help with the puzzles. I basically just need my brother to come over and he'll help me with the puzzles and i'll help him with the FPS segments and we'll just enjoy the game together.
Yes, I kinda rant on it a bit in this topic: https://gametz.com/V...

It isn't an FPS. There is technically "combat" but your gun is primarily used as a key for puzzles or for very specific zones where there are creatures. Ammo is super scarce and combat is horrible though. It's a puzzle game and there is A LOT of wandering around trying to figure out what to do next. Two people figuring out the puzzles will prob help, but I think you'll both be bored doing so. But yeah, it's absolutely gorgeous.

Yeah i figured it was a hellscape walking simulator, i knew it wasn't a shooter.
Guess i'll get weird and enjoy the visuals.

If you have GP it's worth playing the first Act. But the longer you play the less it keeps your interest. I'm in Act 4 (of 5) and decided to just abandon it. It feels like I'm wasting my time even though I am super interested in seeing what's next.

I'll be interested to hear your take on Scorn if you play it @Kommie - from what I've heard about it's gameplay and how I think I know you feel towards games of similar veins, I'm curious if you like it or hate it based on a few factors.

I'll let you know once I play it. I plan to do it next once I beat the RE3 Remake. At 6 hours Scorn can't be that awful. Walking Sims should never be too long.

I'm fine with walking simulators, they just have to be a reasonable length. 2-10 hours is fine. 50+ like Death Stranding, fudge that crap. Just watch a TV show at that point.

Death stranding sounds super interesting on paper, but i have NO INTEREST in playing it haha. It looks gorgeous and i completely get why people dig it.
What Remains of Edith Finch was great and that recent Highway 67 (or whatever) was fantastic. I want to give it another playthrough to see what parts are randomized.

This is funny to me because I love watching my girlfriend play death stranding because it’s pretty. But I never wanna touch the controller. She’ll ask me ever try something and I literally won’t touch the thing. Walking from place to place is literally one of my least favorite things in gaming. Like I remember hating borderlands because of it. But also I favor fighting games over everything so I can tell today when a game is definitely not for me 🤣

Hey hey! For all those fans of Xbox rewards for searching on bing and stuff they now do an auto redeem got 1-month of gamepass ultimate now for 10,500 points a month. So essentially now you can get gamepass just for searching on bing and doing their daily tasks and whatnot. Which I was already doing for the $10 a month gift card. Apparently you can only auto redeem one thing a month so idk had to turn off the gift card unfortunately, but this makes Gamepass so much more worth it to me now. Was already paying for $10 gift cards at GameStop each month anyhow

Glad to see they're expanding the auto redeem discount to something that makes more sense.

They'd have to pay me a lot more than $10 per month to use that crappy search engine.
