Might as well get it started. Who's looking forward to it? I personally think that it could beat PS5, that is if they don't screw up. They need a basic UI, more first party titles, and focus only on gaming. They own the license to Rare games, we need to see new Conkers, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, etc. They did alright with Killer Instinct, I'll give them that, but they're sitting on a lot of games that needs remade, remastered, and sequels.
As far as I know, it's slightly more powerful than the PS5, which isn't a big deal. But what is a big deal is that it will come with more storage. XBSX will have 1TB, which I admit, is not much by today's standards. The PS5 will have 825GB, which is ridiculous. I'm guessing that the next gen games will be around 100gb or more in size on average. If that is the case, I expect the discs will be on 4k UHD blu-rays.

Yeah I always go performance mode 99% of the time. Even in cinematic games like The Quarry I chose performance because it just ran smoother.

I keep forgetting about the XsS and their odd desire for everything to work on an inferior piece of hardware.

It's cool with me. I always pick the highest-fidelity graphics mode.

That's annoying. Once you go minimum 60fps the games with 30 just don't look right. Man i hate the existence of the S

A Plague Tale at 40fps on my OLED with VRR I didn’t mind as much as I thought I would but it would have probably ran a little smoother at the standard 60fps if they had a performance mode option. I did notice frequent hiccups and frame stutters throughout my play through of Requiem as well in areas with a lot of demand for a boost in the GPU like some of the sequences with all those lovely rats.

Ubisoft+ just hit xbox.
Its 60 games.
$17.99 a month.
It cost more than GPU. But every Ubi game hits it day one. So there is potential to signup for one month to play an ubi game when it comes out. I'll probably do this for the next AC game. Instead of paying $70 for it.

$18 is a bit steep for what they’re offering. Would definitely wait for the titles I want to play and just subscribe for that month.

I have access to Ubisoft+ through PS+ Premium (PS+ Extra users have it too) and there are not 60 games currently in the catalog (52), but also some of the games in the catalog are for PSVR, so they wouldn't be on Xbox. I'm curious what differences there will be.
Is the new games being added on day one exclusive to the Xbox side? Ubisoft games are never on my radar, so I've never noticed when new games get added or how close to release they get added.

It looks like its 65 games. And all editions that include all DLC are included as well. As for day one, I have no idea about it being exclusive. I have PS+ premium as well and wasn't even aware it was apart of that.

I wonder if this is going to drive down Ubisofts game prices quicker. Nice that they include the DLC, I guess that's one way of justifying the price.

Thinking the same. They devalue pretty quickly aside from steelbook / deluxe versions that are sealed.

Thanks for listing Archer. It's an easy pass for me as I have from GwG giveaways, uPlay freebies, or just purchases, over 55% of those titles and am not itching to play any of the 40+% that I don't yet have, heh let alone most of those I do have and just haven't touched yet.

Bugsnax is, objectively, non-biased, one of the greatest games ever made.

Considering every game they come out with is the same fudging thing, yes, seems steep
