VB gave me a headache after about 10 minutes back in the day.
Wouldn't mind trying it again though.

I quite enjoy the Virtual Boy, personally. I know, I’m lame. Its library isn’t great, but there are a couple gems in there.

Long ago my friends and I drove up to Ben and Jerrys in Vermont. I sat in the back and played my Virtual Boy all the way uo (multi hour drive)
When we finally got there I had the worst headache and was so sick I threw up in the parking lot.
Never touched that thing again and sold it shortly after.

So that virtual boy guy blocked me, the last thing he told me was he would decide whether or not to trade his virtual boy w/games & original PS4 for my Xbox Series X in the box. A couple of messages back he did ask if I was a scammer so I should've seen this coming

Imagine being so neurotic that you actually end up ...not trading or selling the thing you're trying to trade or sell. You just talk yourself out of it.
He did you a favor. VB's poop, it's purely a financial sink with (probably) guaranteed gains, hopefully before China takes over the world and you can't sell anything anyways.

This really encourages me to either fix/consolize my damaged Virtual Boys or outsource the mod to someone else.
I've been craving Virtual Boy Wario Land! With these headaches I've been getting as of late, I really don't want to induce one myself.

Nintendo missed their opportunity with the 3DS. Porting VB games onto the 3DS eShop seemed like a no-brainer... and yet they never even teased it.

I wonder, @Frank, if was trying to remove themselves as far as possible from their failure with the by choosing not to port any of its titles to the , especially since, at that time, they were simultaneously dealing with the real-time failure of the .

Get this: I was lying down in the bed of a pickup (it had a cap on it)
I can't even remember. I think it was just laying on my face from gravity.
I was so sick. I couldn't even stand up correctly.

That's likely the only explaination that makes any sense. The 3DS was more than capable of emulating VB games, and the 3D display was the perfect pairing.
You're likely right. Nintendo was in the middle of dealing with their biggest failure since the Virtual Boy, and bringing their biggest failure back to light was likely a concern of theirs.
I still see it as a missed opportunity. Nintendo could have even made a small Virtual Boy collection on a physical cartridge, towards the end of the 3DS life. They were already riding the wave of Switch at that point, and it seemed like they were throwing everything they had left at the 3DS... I mean, all those Wii/WiiU 3DS ports...
A Virtual Boy compilation including Wario Land, Mario Clash, and Mario's Tennis would have likely sold pretty well. I'd argue most Nintendo fans haven't actually experienced those games and would have jumped on an opportunity to play them. I own all 3 and STILL would have gladly paid $40 for a 3DS collection of the 3, or $9.99 for them ala-cart digitally... It's fun to reminisce about what could have been.

So Imgur requires an account to upload pics now? Any place do it for free that I can link to without giving any information? It's been awhile since I felt like uploading a picture of a find.

Here's what I do, @KCPenguins. I head over to this meme generator website here, upload a new template, upload the image from my device, don't alter it whatsoever, then save that as the "meme." The only thing it adds is a very small watermark on the bottom left corner. Other than that, it's easy, free, and no account needed.

Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness and Pokemon Coliseum. $2.99 each. I would guess both complete with all the inserts. I don't recall ever hearing about XD before, but I was never into Pokémon.

Yeah, rare miscue by a for profit "thrift" store.
