Rollercoaster Tycoon. Nice! Brings me back.
Yeah, and the boxes are in real nice shape. Had a Fallout Tactics, I prob sold for $30 or $40. Now have 1 on ebay, with no manual though, and box isn't that great, lowered price to net me $90 for it. Now I have this, in immaculate shape, manual. Prob going to try to get $130 or so for it. Manuals alone for rarer games usually sell for $30 - $35. Not to mention the condition is just outstanding.

Nice guy, don't know why he had a command and conquer game in french, couple of uk ones in there, but even still, the fallout trilogy will still net at least $10, maybe $20, didn't check. The sealed half lives, selling, just kept both witchers for my collections, one I had, but the Can with french with one less disc, keeping the us one that I got, selling the Can release. Also keeping solder of fortune II. So keeping 3 games, but keeping 1 over the other, so only 2. And that shelf is filled, nothing really, will dive in it when all these other games sell lol.

I like nice big boxes, but I won an alien vs. predator shirt that is too tight for me, got that message when I was in Jamaica, from a contest win, but it was a voucher I coulda banked on, still kinda did for the remainder but def a good time lol. The new half lifes, I'm a full life, the title coulda been better. Not Yet Parted with a sequel Half Reign. Nah, those are way worse, keep it simple, I got no idea, lol. Fallout Tactics, since I long ago departed with it, I'll also depart from it lol. Rollercoaster tycoons, never really liked sim games, I was an adventure game nerd, with some action games to keep the pace up, even on ps3, not just comp. Than got a mac, played diablo III, that was pretty much the last game I remember playing on the computer.

Went home for Christmas but before any of that fun, I stopped off at an estate sale. Guy was a big sci-fi fan, but by the time I got there a lot of stuff was claimed and people were scanning away. I had to get going so I just grabbed a bunch of stuff and went to pay. Paid $178 for everything. 4K are sealed, Westworld and Austin Powers sets are for me. Always wanted to see the show. Everything looks amazing, just dusty. [imgt w=1185 h=1580]https://i.imgur.com/...[/imgt] [imgt w=1277 h=1702]https://i.imgur.com/...[/imgt] [imgt w=1313 h=1751]https://i.imgur.com/...[/imgt]

Went to a local thrift shop that stocks stuff from the California Goodwills and brings it here to resell, and picked up an LG Ultra HD Bluray player for a bit less than $8. It still had the $13 price sticker attached, heh. No remote, but I'll try to source a replacement from somewhere.

The thing works like a DREAM, and loads up discs super fast, compared to my ancient Samsung and Sony players, this is a beast.

Great finds bud! Especially that Yoshi 3DS. I'm hoping I can find a decently cheap 3DS down the road to replace my secondary 2DS.

I found a FireTV 4K stick at the Amazon Dumpster store, but it didn't include a remote and I can't get it to pair with my phone. I suspect it's busted, but I won't know until I find a replacement remote...

This has been a weird week for remoteless finds, huh

If you can't pair it with your phone I'd imagine the Bluetooth or something is busted. And when I tried looking up remote replacements they're like 50%+ the cost of an actual Kindle Fire device.... So not worth it

Eh, it was two bucks, so I didn't lose much. I'll keep an eye out for a remote at the flea markets.

If you have an older Fire Stick those remotes will work on the newer models, obviously minus the extra functionality of the new remotes. wink

I don't, actually. I don't even have a TV. :p

I'll just ask some friends if they have spares...

I just nabbed Popeye 2 Game Boy for $21. Here’s my story.
[imgt w=400 h=300]https://i.ebayimg.co...[/imgt]
I’ve known about Popeye 2 since The Lonely Goomba made a humorous video about it in the early 2010s. It looked like my thing, so I’ve kept a (pop)eye peeled for it. Shouldn’t be expensive, right?

Popeye 2 is bizarre. You probably haven’t heard of it, and most people haven’t played it. VGPC claims it goes for $18 loose, but $300 CIB. Despite this, loose copies rarely appear on eBay, and when they do, sellers usually call it rare and slap a $40+ price on it. There are some insane prices on this 8-bit novelty game.

I got a random urge to look it up at 2 in the morning, and this copy had just been posted. Seller confirmed beyond a doubt that it was legit (though you can already tell by the yellowing), and I snapped it up. Hope to play it soon.

@Frank You wanted to play it, right? Or am I misremembering?

Wow, great memory man! Yes I do, It looks like a very unique platformer.

Edit: also fake cartridges can yellow as well. Send me a HQ Pic of the front and back and I can verify it for you yes

I was never very good at it but I loved Popeye for Colecovision in the 80's. I have it on NES but I have an old system so its very frustrating to get it started so I usually don't bother with it. I wish they had made Popeye 2 for NES as I would've liked to have played it. I know I wouldn't enjoy on Gameboy as those tend to be clunky. I love Ducktales but playing it on game boy just wasn't the same for me to slow and clunky gamplay. Even still I hope you enjoy your Popeye 2 for Gameboy as its a classic character I wish they would bring back to tv and back on video games. Also it seems every game is listed as Rare on Ebay making the word meaningless to me. Or the popular word now on there is Authentic.
