Anyone picking up anything on this sale?

My backlog is huge but I can't resist good deals.

Picked up Bayonetta, Journey to the Savage Planet, Agony Unrated, and The Norwood Suite for under $20.

Considering going back but like I said my backlog is gigantic.

This! I've got 8 or so games in my cart. I may get them all, but the main one I want is Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary.

I got this beauty around Black Friday, and I'm ready to go all in: https://www.logitech...

FFXIV ... I have been wanting to go back to it so bad, but I know myself.

Yet, I'm confused -> https://store.steamp...

$20, and Endwalker is $20 ... but they want to sell the bundle for $60?

There was a bunch of expansions between base and Endwalker. What am I missing?

I believe they bundle the previous expansions with the base game when a new expansion comes out. For whatever reason they just didn't discount the bundle.

Does anyone bother with the badges? I need "Best Game on the Go", "Outstanding Story-Rich Game", and "VR Game of the Year" to craft my badge.

I have an extra "Better With Friends" and 2 extra "Best Soundtrack". I really hate how they randomized the cards, instead of just granting the corresponding.

I always sell my cards for money for more games. $0.06 here and there eventually adds up to a $2 game.

I used to care about them @Frank and traded/collected a few sets years ago, but I don't focus on Steam in general, so I lost interest. I know they used to have more interactive crap during this annual sale (maybe they still do), but it felt like a waste of time to me after a short period of time.
I'm finally looking at my Wishlist as the app/emails have notified me of some games being on sale, but like someone else said, my backlog doesn't need any more company. I do have a capable enough gaming rig now, but meh.

Endwalker made enduring all the other expansions that much better.

Yeah... my backlog is screaming but I'm gonna get a few things. Probably Resident Evil 3, Mass Effect Legendary, Police Simulator and As Dusk Falls.

As Dusk Falls is on gamepass if you subscribe.

I made two whole bucks by selling all my event cards from my main account and my alts.

I plan to get a bunch of items, but I normally wait until the last couple of days before it ends in case someone surprises me with a game. And I need to add Steam wallet, since I can't actually buy anything directly due to my uh, location causing problems.

Amazon has some EA games available as Steam keys, too - the three Star Wars games and Command & Conquer Remastered. You can probably get other games for cheaper outside of Steam if you know where to look...

I don’t. I rarely subscribe to anything because I don’t get to play more than a handful of times a month. But maybe someone else can take advantage of that smile

Here is my current status:

Purchased
Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium (Fanatical)
Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster (Green Man Gaming)

In Cart
Death Stranding Director's Cut Upgrade
Disney Afternoon Collection
Grandia HD Remaster
Neo Geo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 1
Shmups Skill Test
Super Cyborg
Umihara Kawasa Trilogy

All of my Steam purchases are an additional ~12.5% or more off, because I stock up on discount credit, so third-party sellers' discounts have to be more than that on top of the Steam sale. Ties always go to Valve, because they are far and away the best company in this industry.

Right now I've just got Accounting+ in my cart. I'm going to try the original Accounting to see if I should even bother.

I'm trying to buy little to nothing for this sale. I need to hack away at my backlog before buying anything else.

The answer is clearly buy more, build the backlog, get angry because there's so much to play and not enough time ... haha.

There will be time to play everything when the industry completely implodes due to games as a service, cloud gaming/streaming, paid exclusives, political injections, etc. For better or worse, it doesn't feel like it's that far off.

I beat Accounting+ on PSVR awhile back, and I enjoyed it. (Since you liked Trover, you might like it too. The humor is similar.) Some of the secrets in Accounting+ are pretty wild. I won’t spoil anything.
