Post your random thoughts, questions, ideas here... I'll start
1) Have you ever watched America's Funniest Videos and wonder why the winning video is almost NEVER funny AT ALL?? We were watching some older episodes on Disney Plus and the final 3 videos are always stupid and not funny, and the worst one ALWAYS wins.. WTF..
2) How have cereal bags NOT been made with zip lock technology??
3) They need to make a container that can keep to-go french fries from getting soggy...

You have never heard of cottage cheese and peaches? I figured that was a common thing.

they can charge you an extra $5000 for a $.10 disc...

Work rented out a family center (arcade, bowling etc) for 3 hours. Unlimited play. Got to play some of those ticket games unlimited (no tickets or prizes were awarded). My goodness they are so obviously rigged. Rough estimate would have cost $500 for 3 kids for 3 hours if we had to pay.

Sorry all, busy weekend at HorrorHound Cincinnati.
MRI CD - I was told it's for me. If anyone wanted a copy of the results, they had to request for it. I'm guessing they're going to send the images to the chiropractor that ordered it as well.
Peaches and cottage cheese - I think I've only ever had it with canned peaches, not the fresh kind straight out of the produce aisle. I don't think I've ever seen pineapple and cottage cheese, but maybe I have and dismissed it.

I am getting into the dumbassery of gradeschool sports. I've seen it with certain coaches in certain sports for two years now. We are talking K-4th grade. Disgusting.

MRI results - no stress fractures or anything bad.. just a case of the "I banged my elbow."
cottage cheese and peaches - Nothing yet... think it'll happen this weekend.... on the side note of fruit, somebody doesn't either know what a mango is or they cut the mango before it ripened...
@KCPenguins - you're getting into the dumbassery by participating in it or finding the "it's so stupid it's hilarious" of it?

At the airport headed back up to Vermont. I can’t wait to see my kid again. Nervous and anxious as fudge but it’ll all be worth it. For only being a month and a half I forgot how tedious and bullcrap traveling is. Get here 2 hours early to wait for an hour and 56 minutes.

My wife and I have been flying for many years and we still have this discussion every time we fly. She wants to wait until the last minute and I prefer to go early in case there are long lines or other delays. I would rather be 2 hours early and have to kill time than 2 minutes late and miss a flight.
Twice we have almost missed flights. Several years ago we were actually called on the intercom by name to get to the gate immediately.
Last year, we had a long line at security and still had a long walk to our gate at the far end of the terminal. I decided to run to the gate and was told my wife had two minutes to get there before they would have to close the door. There was a cart about to leave so I asked the driver if he would go pick up my wife. He got her there just in time. The airlines agent had booked us a very short layover in Dallas where we had to switch terminals. We barely made that connection before the doors were to be closed. Very stressful trip.

Air travel sucks. That's why I've only been back out to California 2 or 3 times since I moved to KY 15 years ago

Welp, got out of DOGE.
Only took 3 years to break even. Had I waited until I woke up and not had a limit order in, I woulda made another grand.
Oh well, feels good to get off the roller coaster! Already withdrew enough to pay taxes this year.
Haha right before the run up too... Ugh. Will I buy the inevitable dip?
There's always SHIB, letting that ride for now ($3k).

I used to HATE traveling in my early consulting years. Over time though, it becomes fun. Put in some ear buds, grab a couple drinks, do some work, and people watch. Having two drinks is really the key!

That sounds like undue stress Tony. When you get here early, yeah you kill time like you said… but if you wait and get here later then something always, inevitably, happens to make it stressful. I do think there’s a happy medium but I haven’t found it yet. I’m glad I brought a book haha.

Man I have a 3 hour layover in NY. I can definitely get 2 drinks in.

I never travel without a book. It helps pass the time, and it signals people not to try to start up a conversation with me.

If you always dress and act like Jeffry McWild people don't want to talk to you either

This! I've had some fantastic random chats with people on a plane. I've always found older travelers, and mothers, to be the best ones to chat with.
