Can someone recommend a decent desktop PC for around $400-$500. Don't need anything to powerful, just a basic PC with a decent memory for day to day usage and streaming. Don't need monitor, keyboard or mouse so just the tower. Thanks in advance.
I'm not in a rush to buy it now, but if there's a deal out now, let me know.

If you don't need something powerful, I'd recommend just getting a refurb PC off eBay or maybe a locally on OfferUp/Facebook Marketplace for $100-$200. Another option if you've got the budget for it is one of these mini pcs, like https://www.amazon.c...

I have a AceMagic mini PC(AMD Ryzen 5 5600U / 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD) available if interested.
It's the Ryzen 5 variant that's sold out right now.
PM me if you're interested.

The PC I currently have is a HP Pavilion 570-p014 I got a few years ago.. Really would love something where I can do dual monitor display since I have that setup now.

I need to check the specs on my work PC but I'm about to upgrade it (required upgrade) I know it has an SSD and 16GB ram and we're using 2 monitors with it currently

Now and then, there are decent deals on Dell OptiPlex Micros at their Outlet store.
Last week, I ordered some of these:
Dell OptiPlex 7010 Micro (that's their latest OptiPlex release -- so it is current)
i5-13500T
16GB RAM
256GB SSD
WiFi6
Total cost with tax was $525 shipped.
Those come with dual DisplayPorts so you can do two monitors easily.

I know you're looking for a desktop, but I listed my gaming laptop in Classifieds and Ill throw in a Targus dock for $20 and you can use dual monitors with the laptop screen.

I think that one only has 1 HDMI. This one has slightly less storage, but 2 HDMI ports and a better processor:
MINISFORUM Venus Series UM773 Lite Mini PC AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS up to 4.75GHz 32GB DDR5 512GB PCIe4.0 SSD AMD Radeon 680M Mini Computer, 2 x HDMI,1x USB4,5X USB Ports,WiFi 6,BT5. 2 https://a.co/d/5gGWy...

I don't have experience with pre-built minis like that, but based on the specs, reviews, and price, it looks like a solid buy!

Yeah, that's why I liked this one: Great specs, great price and dual monitor capability!

I am really looking into the Ryzen 8000G series. Looking at a small build also, I just need a RTS machine maybe get into streaming... The 8000G series supports AV1 and that seems pretty interesting.
It offers built in graphics that are pretty much the same as a Nvidia 1650, yah that's not great but it's SOO much better then what I have and would at very least buy me time to buy a better GPU. HOWEVER the 8000G series for some reason does not support PCIe 5.0. So I am not sure what I want. I could look into the 7000 series.

Yeah, seems like a decent mini PC. The CPU is underpowered these days, so as long as you really mean very limited gaming, you should be fine. For an Email/Facebook Machine, it would be fine. Make a nice office PC, for example.

Those mini PCs are great for home use and streaming, not so much gaming unless you're like me and do mostly emulation. 205 bucks is a great price for it. Just hook up an external storage drive and you're good to go.

You can get a Ryzen mini-pc (e.g. Beelink Ryzen 7 5700U SER5 ~$330 ) -- has a fast cpu at a good price. Graphics is not super, though. I've been thinking I'll switch to one next time I need to upgrade. They are popular on the mini-pc subreddit.

Indeed -- that Ryzen is more money, but it is at least twice the speed and, in many cases, about 3 times the speed of the other.
