I once did a shell swap, bought the replacement shell on eBay. Worked out fine.

So I just traded for a real nice one, and I want to keep this one for a while. It has a few light marked on it. I’d like to do a whole shell replacement. I don’t mind a differ color either .

I did a quick google search but most of the comments on them are, they don’t fit exactly, can damage the unit.

So I’d like to know a place where one may have bought one and had success with

If you do the swap be very careful. There's a very sensitive piece that connects to the screens. If you're not super careful, you can permanently cause the screen to malfunction.
