There's a demo for a game called Morbid: The Lords of Ire on Steam, it's related to a similar game with the same sort of name but I didn't like that one. This one is.... okay. Better. Got to the boss and it after phase 1, there's another phase and I gave up after that. Small enemy variety in this demo. There is a block/riposte feature that needs to be used.
Worth the time?

About to wrap up Haligtree ... getting bummed that it's almost over, but perfecting timing with the DLC on the way.
Debating my first NG+ playthrough, and respecc'ing to fist weapons.
Bleed is clearly overpowered, glad I waited till my third round to experience it.

Its been a good while since I played. But didn't a couple of the patches nerf bleed into the ground? I remember a bunch of stuff online about people complaining how badly it was nerfed. I guess they could have been over reactions as well.

@Archer - yah, I read it's way less op'd than the original days, which is for the better, as it's still pretty damn op'd. This is my 3rd build (first was heavy int, second was str/fth, now I'm dex/arc), and this is by far the easiest. I only do a couple casts for buffs, but I'm just melting everything by proc'ing bleed and having the combo of fire/bleed on the poleblade.
I can only imagine how silly this was in the early days. It seemed like that's everyone used - Rivers of Blood + Hoarfrost.

Before they first neferd it (which I agree it needed) it was stupid powerful. You could walk through every boss with a few hits. They would get massive HP draining bursts from the bleed. Like 800+ hp in one go from a couple hits. It was stupid broken. But some people made me think it was over corrected and made worthless. But it sounds like that isn't the case.

RoB is my secondary, I rarely go to it as I primarily am 2H Eleonora's Poleblade which is just all kinds of fun.

Ok, fudge Malenia.
This has been my hardest go at her.
I threw in the towel and even tried summoning randos. Constant failure.
Summoned a dude "I can solo her". No, no he can't. He failed miserably.

Gonna try to sneak in one more run before DLC.
You guys have dual wield feedback? Thinking Star Fists, Gargoyle Twinblades or Scavenger's Curved Swords.

Finished this run.
Respecc'd slightly to mainhand Godskin Peeler and offhand Elenora. This is after I save scummed and tried out multiple dual wield builds, they just felt ... kinda boring.
First time rolling into NG+, and yeah, I think I'm gonna give up. It's cool that so much carries over, but with only a minimally increased HP pool and no new rewards, what's the point?
I also took this guy a bit further, left the 150 meta and sitting at 159. My thought was to keep playing and leveling this guy but think I'm getting a bit burnt out. Still, I do want to finally get Dung Eater as a summon ... assuming I don't screw it up, yet again!
Just installed Sekiro on PC, debating a second round, but thinking maybe a break from these guys before DLC is in my best interest, haha.

I recently beat Legendary Tales, and it’s the closest thing I’ve ever played to Dark Souls in VR.
