The strange thing is, when you first get to Kyovashad it gives you the first quest for Act 1, 2 and 3. The three story quest it gives you. And you can do them in any order I guess, but the ones for act 2 and 3 are a bit higher level. So if you do them out of order I'm not sure how it handles it. If you open your quest log on the map screen it will tell you what act the story quests belong to.

And after you finish an act you get a small cut sense with a voice over from one of the characters.

Well, I'm officially addicted. Gdamnit. I'm sure I'll burn out soon but purposely overdoing it before FFXVI. Man I want some better gear to support end game builds.

What's best way to grind to 70 for WT4? I'm just OCD all over the place doing everything as I collect lilith statues and redo my build constantly. Only at 56... Need to focus on leveling.

I'm assuming T1/T2 dungeons? I've only got 3 drops so far. Is there a better way to farm these to just keep popping nightmare dungeons?

I'd recommend NM dungeons. 25% more xp as the enemies will be 3+ levels higher than you. Plus you can pop an elixir for another 5%.

But if you really just want to speed it and not enjoying playing the game. Find a group and run dungeons that ways. You get another 10% xp for being in a group. And a group can clear a dungeon in under 45 seconds with splitting up. That doesn't sound fun to me. But its an option if you want to rush to level 70.

I did the 70 capstone at 60 with my sorc. And it was pretty easy. WT4 was a dog for a good while until I got better gear drops. But I leveled up super quick due to the level difference just doing regular open world stuff. I'm currently level 72 and staring to get a bit burned out. I want to get to 100 as I haven't maxed a character in a diablo game since the first. So I might take a break personally. Or maybe only play a couple dungeons or helltide a night for a bit. Personally I think this end game is super stale. They also keep nerfing dungeons to prevent people from leveling up faster.

Maybe everyone else already knew this, but I just realized that you can’t resell Diablo IV, because the disc acts as a license for one account: https://www.reddit.c.... Super disappointing. If I had known that, I would have bought it digitally (and probably also have waited for the price to come down). I love the game, but that’s so shady that there’s nothing on the box to indicate that you can’t sell or trade it used.

^^ I don't know if I believe that? The physical console edition doesn't even come with a cd key. The comments in that thread seem to suggest the OP is wrong, has it been confirmed you can't give a PS5 disc to your friend and have them pop it in their own PS5 and play?

That post is from 2 months ago. The game came out 2 weeks ago. Also it has been confirmed in the comments that it is not true and works like every other disc game in the world.

That's good to know. I couldn't find anything to refute it.

RIP Santa. First hardcore toon to die. I’d recommend play through the whole game first or look up boss tactics before you try this mode. It was probably not a good idea to run it blind. I was running two toons concurrently in case of a surprise to prevent too many spoilers from guides- and turns out it was a good idea. The game is very easy except for a few surprise mechanics- and you can get to 50 at least without messing in dungeons or advancing the story too much. So you can avoid the surprises and that random dungeon guy.

I also did not use any build guides etc. pretty intuitive what the builds should be if you read the passives carefully.

I'm finding helltides to be very fun and relaxing in the post game on torment. Just running around killing everything on the map to get a currency to unlock chests. They last for one hour. And the hour flies by. And at level 74 its a decent xp grind as well. Get about a half a level doing it. Which is two more paragon points. Its just too bad they are spread so far apart. They last for hour, and then the next one isn't for 2 more hours.

Hitting Butcher mid dungeon on my first HC character in the original beta was super memorable, I was level 17 and managed to get out with like, 3% health left. He was tenacious, and I had to backtrack through 2/3rds of that fudging dungeon to hit the exit. Would have done better but foolishly I thought my homebrew build was gonna make it, two potions in I realized my folly

I’ve seen him a few times but he despawns? Into a pool of goo after I flee for a few minutes. He hasn’t got close enough to pound on me.

Hit 60. I fear the burn out soon. I really wish there was better social/lfg elements. I'd love to quickly join PUGs for dungeons and/or queue up for team based events.

Helltides and world bosses need to happen more frequently too.

This Druid is awful early. Huge end game potential but very hard to gear and talent a quick and survivable efficient start. The sorcerer is pretty much built for just that.

Yeah, I see videos of late game druid play. And I'm like that looks fun as hell. And seems extremely powerful. Then I start a druid. And I nope the fudge out of that real quick. Its slow and boring in the beginning. It takes too long to get fun/good. I also feel the same way about barb and necro.

Little more than a week later... Hit 70. Gdamnit this game is addicting. Getting it all in so I can move to Final Fantasy this week.

Cold sorc is just insane. Have been knocking out T25 dungeons for the last few levels, solo, in about ten minutes. Think it's time to bump up a bit.

I still haven’t finished the campaign.

Hardcore Sorc at 50. Santa the rogue HC died at 30 or so. (Boss of first act- never saw him on screen and did not get behind the barrier- first ever encounter…) I plan to finish campaign and possibly go for 100- sorc just feels so in control at all times- with the pot, fire shield rez and escape scrolls I see very little risk of death with careful play.

Was planning to main a rogue but it is a bit complex for a first run through. Continued with my Druid. Figured it out. Pretty much unstoppable. The butcher made the mistake of walking up on me. Smashed him. Druid has the mount and all zones open and I’m at the part where you pick swamp or something else in the ugly zone.

Normal mode does not feel nearly as fun or intense as HC- for good reason. My HC toon I used all the mechanics and merchants to stay UTD. I have not upgraded anything or used a single gem on my 45 Druid.

If anyone wants to trade pvp kills for the trophy let’s figure it out. I’ve been to the pvp zones a few times and there is always 1-3 Uber asshats there. I’m not leveled or really trying but seems easier just to skip it.

I'd be down to do this sometime. I don't really go to the PVP zones at all. I tend to play with cross play disabled as the game performs better that way. And xbox has the smallest pool of players compared to PC and PS5, so there are not many people ever there anyways.

But I could turn cross play on and we could knock out the 5 kills each and get it done with. I think we can party up go to the zone, then un-party. That way we are guaranteed to be in the same map instance. Then find a spot away from everyone else who may be there and do the kills.
