Trade, Buy or Sell
I would first like to say, please do not take it personally if I decline an offer without sending a message. I receive on average 5-10 offers a day, sometimes more. With my work and school schedule, plus life, I can't check GameTZ every day. So sometimes I log on to like 50 offers. I try to respond when I can, but it's not always possible.
Also, if you send me a message, and just say "check my list". That leads me to believe that we have no matches most likely. I just do not have time to pour over 8 pages of your game collection. Please at least send me some sort of offer to get the ball rolling. This seems to happen a few times a week, so I had to mention it.
I will be the first to admit that I am a little hard to trade with. I've been collecting since about 1996. I've owned and played pretty much all the good, amazing, bad, rare, and grail games over the decades. I don't just collect/trade anymore because a game is rare, or good for the money. I collect to obtain games I owned in the past, that I consider the greatest of all-time. My goal is to own what I consider the greatest 150 console, and the greatest 50 PC games of all-time, and no more. Therefore, I have a very precise list of exactly what I want. So if it's not on my list, you can assume I have no desire to trade for it. Already played it most likely, and it didn't make my list.
What I look For:
First, 99% of the time, I am looking for clean, complete games. They do not have to be gem mint, but well taken care of.
Second, No Greatest Hits, Best, etc... Second print runs.
Third, No previous rentals, unless they cleaned up really well. Stickers on CD's and Cart labels, have no appeal to me. The art these stickers cover, is part of the reason I collect physical titles.
Fourth, I just put everything in my "Available" list, because if the right game is offered, I will trade any game from my collection. This does not mean that I will trade anything you want just because you offer me a fair deal. Some games will only be available if you offer me a heavy hitter or two, that is high on my want list. For example, a English Dynastic Hero, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Last Blade AES, & many more...
Finally, If something in my available list has "Looking to Trade" in the comments, then I want it out of my collection. I'll trade it for probably anything on my want list.
