new Thread Description
This thread was originally created to encourage traders here at GTZ to do more trading, especially retro related stuff. It has turned into a lot more and I am so grateful to everyone who contributed to this thread and have kept it going for nearly 6 months now. I hope this thread will continue to thrive and everyone who reads/participates in this thread will gain some value or knowledge out of it.

We will still have Trade lists up here, though it's been a while since anyone updated. I encourage everyone to look over their lists and post updates.
There is also a section for gorgeous pictures of game rooms that active participants of this thread have shared. Feel free to share some pics of your collection or game room.
I will be adding another section for information regarding video quality of retro gaming systems on modern displays and how to improve them.
There is rather some extensive discussion regarding how to improve the display quality of retro gaming systems and if you are new to this like I am, you will find it very informative.

Old Topic Description

GTZ has become a marketplace where the most commonly traded commodity is PalPal. I want to start an effort to get some trades going and to discuss some good games perhaps you never heard of or interested in but want to discover/know more of. For example, I just got intto shmups after years of ignoring the genre and I love to discover new(to me) and rediscover old ones(Sonic Wings comes to mind).

No pressure here. Feel free to discuss anything retro. Perhaps throw out some WTTF targets and what you have to offer. I am sick of browsing people's year old Available lists.

Some examples:

- WTTF/WTB/LF
- What you think is awesome game/series/whatever
- Potential games you have up for trade
- Pics of what you have/what you would love to get/what you think is the bestest awesomest game ever
- Show off your latest finds/adds to your collection

I win.

In other news, thanks to Mega Everdrive, my Sega Mega CD collection is growing a bit, not just cheap RPG and rando titles!

They made Robo Aleste into such a generic robot with a big gun wry smile

And removed all the ties to Nobunaga and the badass Rock & Roll hairs

5, 7, 5 is the structure. I guess syllables would be the most appropriate translation here.

It is also traditional to reference the seasons in some way. I could write in 5/7/5 all day but it takes a real man to talk about the weather

I won a chin pillow(I think that's what it was) in a haiku contest in Intermediate Japanese! I used a fancy word: Yuuutsu!

That's not a typo, it's got 3 U's!

I mean, Japanese words don't have any u's if we're being particular.

I'll take your word for it, since I don't know anything about Japanese. I just figured the alphabets were totally different.

Japanese is actually very similar to Spanish in terms of pronunciation. If you know this table(katakana), you will be able to figure out most of the menus in imports.

Ku-ro-u-something

It's fun, if you know how to pronounce it you can at least look up most of the characters using that chart. I need to get cracking on Genki.

the " makes the character have a slightly different sound.

Normally it would be Ku-ra-u-to, but because of the double quote, it makes it a "do" sound.

Kuraudo!

New LRG games announced on an E3 stream today. I haven't heard of any of them, but it could be because I don't keep up with modern stuff. The Bunker is apparently an FMV game. They also heavily implied Windjammers is on the horizon, which would be excellent.

1 - Croixieur Sigma

2 - Layers of Fear 2

3 - Bard's Gold

4 - Ghost Blade HD

5 - The Bunker

6 - Factotum 90

7 - Mercenary Kings

8 - Claire: Extend Cut

9 - Jotun

10 - Aero

11 - The Flame in the Flood

12 - Kero Blaster

13 - 2064

14 - Volume (PS4)

15 - Momodora

16 - Va - 11 Hall - A

17 - Rive

lol Jodun, indiebox has already released that game twice, and both versions are infinitely better than what LRG is gonna produce.
