Welcome to The GameTZ Game Club! This is my attempt at forming an easy to get into book club type thing, but with games! Anybody and everybody is welcome to join in on the fun!

Rules are simple

- Each month a random game will be chosen, by myself, for the club to play. Games can vary from the beginning of gaming onward to current generation platforms. There's no limitations!

- You have from the 1st of every month to 11:59PM EST of the final day to complete the designated game. 100% completion isn't required. The point of the club is to provoke game discussion, as well as give GameTZ veterans and new users a place to mingle!]

- For every game completed, post a picture as proof of your completion Example

- You will be awarded with a badge each month you complete the game. All badges will be proudly displayed next to your name in the original post. As long as you "roll credits" the game is considered beaten!

- Every user to complete the game each month will be thrown into a drawing to win prizes! Users will be assigned a number and 3 numbers will be randomly generated in the beginning of the following month.

- Each month's prizes will vary. Prizes will be given out by either me or TradingFin. Sometimes physical, sometimes digital. If you would like to contribute, drop me a message. smile

- If you don't own the game, and you have access to it on another platform, you're welcome to play it that way. Just make sure that it's the same version, to qualify for the prize or badge.

- If you do not want to participate in the games, but would like to join in on the conversations, please do!

- If you would like to join, just post here, and I'll add you to the list of users. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or criticism, please don't hesitate to post them!

Frank said that it's playable on a modern system, so we need to filter down to a list of those. We can also skip FPS and Naughty Dog titles. That leaves us with a pretty short (and awesome) list.

Beyond: Two Souls
God of War III
Heavy Rain
Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy
Journey
LittleBigPlanet 3
Minecraft
Ratchet & Clank
Shadow of the Colossus

Okay, it's not Minecraft.

Let's cut that list in half. Frank, is the game part of a franchise?

I think you missed a few in your cut down list, but still a solid list. I've been meaning to replay Heavy Rain. Always up for replaying Heavenly Sword too grin

Almost half way through the month and so far Diamond Dave is the only one to complete Mario RPG. I really hope you guys are still playing!

I'll answer the questions on my next break grin

Really enjoying playing through the game. I died for the first time facing the boss after the pirate ship section -- the mirage guy is tough! Hoping to make it a good deal further this weekend.

Probably did miss a few. I'm really out of touch with the current gen.

And Frank, I'm still playing as much as I can. I'm up to four stars and really liking it.

I had a late start, but I'm finally digging into it. I just got the second star the other day, so maybe I'm on track to finishing it in time. Like so most other games I've ever played, I started it years ago and never came back to it for some reason. This club is a good excuse for me to get back to some of these games.

I should be getting the 5th star in Mario RPG today. I'm actually getting through the game a little quicker than I expected.

All I was asked was if it's a PS3 game. The game is available on PS3, so I said yes. wink

Been loving Mario RPG but probably won't get the job done before June ends. So much other stuff to play, and a ton of LIFE just getting in my way. But it will definitely be one that i return to over time hntil I finish it. yes

If it does end up being Journey, I'm in. Love that game. And I just re-upped my PS Plus yesterday, and I have it in my library from being one of the free games before.

It could be Flower or other indie games (The Unfished Swan) games too... might not be Journey!

The fact that it has a physical release eliminates quite a few PS3 indies.
