I see it's not a big topic here, honestly I am not a big NBA guy myself but I started watching in round 2. Pretty hard not to get swept up in Raptors fever up here lol.

Definitely rooting for the Raptors in this one. Thought they had it for sure last night. Lowry looked like a scared child in crunch time though, I think the pressure of the moment got to him.

You think this will impact his free agency? I don't. If anything, I see this improving it because teams will come to him and say, "The Warriors front office put you in harm's way. We'll never do that. Blah blah blah." I don't know if Kevin Durant will blame the Warriors front office, but this isn't the way you want KD to end the season before he can decline his option.

Rooting for a Canadian team over an American team? You must not love Merica, traitor.

I am hoping this gives the NBA a reason to look North for expansion at some point when the League is ready. The Commissioner has said he would like to revisit Vancouver and I know Montreal has a group looking to land a team... but that one would be a hard sell since they would compete with the NHL... and I can tell you who would win every time 100% of the time raspberry

I honestly don't care who wins. I can actually root for both teams for a change.
Also rooting for Nick Nurse as someone from small town Iowa.

I think Silver recently shot down any expansion talks for the foreseeable future?

He did, but he also mentioned that when it does pop back up he would be interested in revisiting the Vancouver market.

I was rooting for the Raptors until all the cheering/mocking after KD got hurt. Team USA baby, go Golden State!

It wasn't the team cheering and mocking haha. I'm hoping for the Raptors, they've been playing some good ball. Although it would be more satisfying if GS was at 100%.

No it wasn't and I certainly wouldn't be unhappy to see Toronto win. I love Lowry, and Kawhi carrying them to the title would be a great storyline. Still, the fans that were definitely made me tone back actively rooting for them.

Golden State fans would probably do the same thing.

Fans of almost all teams would probably do the same thing. It is the vocal minority. I don't really care, still soured how I look at Toronto.

76ers/Raptors this year was epic it was like shades of iverson/carter battle back in 01, still waiting on 76ers to win big one since they last won it 36 years ago

No, but I thought he tore his achilles? That would make his calf muscle look like a snapped rubber band.
