I feel bad making a "gripe" about this because Wedsau isn't 100% at fault for cancelling this deal as he was bullied by a few other members of the community who mislead him into believing the trade wasn't fair for him because they're upset about something completely unrelated. That being said, Wedsau could've had the fortitude and dignity to think for himself and not cave to peer pressure because when the deal was made he was excited about the trade/what he was receiving and knew the value of the actual trade was fair (The trade pended on the left had a list of games that were "to be sent" to me, but Wedsau only had 2 of the games on that list so the actual terms of the deal didn't involve everything that was documented), but again, being that he is new I am not all that surprised he succumbed to the peer pressure.
Before cancelling, Wedsau did say he would complete a trade for 1 of the games that were agreed upon, but in return he wanted items that equaled 3x the value of what he was willing to trade and items that were not in the initial agreement. Not sure if this was a joke, if one of the negative influencing peers put him up to that or if it was just some additional stuff he was interested in (though he did cite that he looked up the values on a price charting website, but even when I looked up the values the values I got and the values he got were significantly different) but it wasn't a realistic counter offer to say the least.
I would be open to revisiting this trade or another similar trade with Wedsau at a later date at which time I would remove this gripe, but I do believe this is important to note so all potential traders are aware of this moving forward; you may need to get the blessing of a couple of...peers...before trading with Wedsau. Regardless, wishing him and everyone nothing but the best |
