Description

This 2D game is fairly short and easy to play. It's definitely a good game for new users of the PS2 system because it allows you to familiarize yourself with the buttons.

Gameplay:
The basic gameplay is easy. You are a Rapper who must make it through different levels to rid the town of its evil doers. You must rap your way to victory. Each level has you follow along with a rap song. Each song is sung by one of Parappa's friends. You must follow along and as he is singing, you must rap along with him. It gives you a prompt at the top and you must hit each button at the right time to keep the rap flowing. If you mess up too much, you fail the level and must restart.

Sound:
The sound is actually pretty good. That's one thing this game does have going for it. The different raps that you sing to and rap to are pretty good. I believe you can even buy the soundtrack.

Graphics:
Well, what did you expect from a 2D game? It's just like a cartoon. The graphics are OK, and the characters and all are really kinda cheesy. Like I said, it's like watching a cartoon with which you can interact. It's definitely something for the kids. Adults on the other hand, play at your own risk smile

Controls:
Easy... you need to know where Circle, Triangle, Square and X are along with the shoulder buttons. If you know where they lie on the controller, then its GG!

Overall:
The game only takes an hour to beat. The game has no replay value. The characters and plot could be cute for some, but for me...well it was boring. Overall C+ just because the rap songs were pretty good.
