Currently has a May 12 2023 release date. That's just over 4 months away. That's not so far, but there isn't that much known about it.
Here's a video that has the reveal trailer and other info that has so far been released.
https://youtu.be/30D...
Is it unusual for such an anticipated title that's only several months away to not have much known about it?
I don't usually follow games along their pre-release stages, so perhaps a lack of info is standard.
Personally, I'd rather a lack of info when it comes to games that I plan on playing. I don't care for spoilers, or to watch every trailer that comes out.
I'd have thought there'd be more out about it though. But again, I don't usually follow along with the progress of game development.
Definitely a game I'm looking forward to though.

So exploring the sky islands I hover biked and glided to a distant high island. My reward? A King Gleeok. Figured now is as good a time as any to take on my first Gleeok. Tough fight. Blew through a ton of Keese eyeballs
Springs are amazing for those fights

I'm at 98 hours and I finally got the Master Sword. I decided to hit up the depths under Hyrule castle for the first time. I think I need to go back and cook up some more dishes, definitely some gloom resistance.

It’s hard to get but the depths armor is so worth it and looks amazing

I decided to finally beat the game today. I have all armor, 152 shrines, only 119 lightroots (can't figure out which one I'm missing). I've done a ton of armor upgrading, but I won't be grinding for all of the missing materials. I might come back to this for fun in the future, but it's time to move on (185 hours is a record for me for a single player game unless you count my two full playthroughs of BotW. I loved BotW, although it definitely had its flaws. However, I can't imagine ever going back to it now. Imagine going back to all that climbing and running instead of all the countless ways we can get around in TotK. Those of you that know me over the years know that Ocarina of Time is my all-time favorite game. I think TotK might have taken over the top spot.

There's one lightroot that is a small circle in a deeper area. It's hard to see as since it's in a deeper area it's surrounded by dark blue map. It blends in really well.

I don't recall, but it was the last one I got. If you have all the shrines you can just bounce back and for between maps to find it.

With the important caveat that I haven't gotten around to playing Elden Ring yet, this is the best game I have played since Half-Life: Alyx. The two games have something very compelling in common: They are very flexible, and essentially everything that creatively should work does.
Like a lot of you it seems, I haven't had the heart to finish the main game. I just keep finding new stuff. The level of hand-crafted design and attention to detail is ridiculous for an open world game.

All shrines, all hearts and all memories. Finishing strong so far. Want to complete one last thing before end game. I still say I don't think I can replay this game like BotW, but it's been a journey.

Beat this last night. System says I spent 135 hours on it.
The final hour or so had 3 moments where I said some variation of "oh crap" out loud.
Potentially my favorite game of all time. The sense of discovery and exploration is second to none.

Went ahead and beat it. Better ending than BotW. Insane number of people worked on this game. One of the best Zelda games, but I'm not sure if I'd crown it king. Definitely most ambitious.

It's my favorite as of now. We'll see if recency bias applies after a while when I replay BOTW.
The ending was okay imo, but yeah, way better than BOTW's.

I've officially moved on from TOTK for now. All I have left of the main story is to take out Ganondorf, but I played the game to death and just can't play it anymore until I take an extended break. Happy to have the endgame to go back to when I get back in the mood though.

I moved on as well. I played the hell out of this. Hopefully there will be DLC to convince me to go back, but otherwise, I can't ever see going back to it. It's too big and overwhelming to start again.

I moved on after beating it, but I pop in from time to time to clear up some of the shrines I missed. I plan to gradually complete all the remaining ones I have left, but there's too much else to do/play right now.

What is the reason this isn’t fully voiced? I would have loved it if all the side quests and even the main quest line was fully voiced. That’s my one gripe with an other wise amazing game

The weird noises and groans that the NPCs make can be annoying. My wife and kids mimic the noises and make fun of the game. I honestly don't care about the lack of voice acting throughout the majority of the game. I tend to skip through acted dialogues in most games, which tends to be really annoying as their sentences are constantly being cut short.
