Recent news: according to Kotaku, Gamestop is no longer taking preorders for the system. Hope you got your preorder in!

Since that movie came out, here is a typical day for me at the office.

Lol, nice to see there are some comrades in pain here. People that know me don't bother but like random people at the grocery store and crap will bring it up. Can't wait for that time window to close.

Yea I get weird looks when I tell people I have no plans on seeing End Game. Haven't even seen Infinity Wars. That being said I'm absolutely loving Spider-Man

Batman is pretty much the only superhero I like. I don't watch all of the movies or play all the games he's in, but I've never really liked any other superhero. A superhero is only as good as the villains he fights and Batman has the best ones.

Not an mcu fan either..it's weird people who've never been into anything nerdy just assume you are gonna be all about it if they know you're a nerd.. they don't understand how the mainstream ruins the things we love.

Can't stand the Doctor Who fandom. Makes me never want to watch it aside from part of an episode I saw where it looked like they hired the Power Rangers special effects people for a really lame giant bee/wasp thing.

Who ever predicted in here that the Days Gone story would have lots of ups and downs. You would be correct. I had an amazing run in the story last night. And what I just played was complete and utter trash. Typical trope bullcrap. I hate so much that almost every game has to pull this crap in the middle of their stories. Honestly the Days Gone story starts off pretty non existent. 5 minute cut scene to explain what's going on. It isn't detailed or intriguing like Last of Us or God of War. What I played it seemed the story would be very vanilla.

The story starts off super slow. As I a said before, its a very slow burn game. The story didn't kick off until like 6-9 hours in or something like that. At least for me. I spent a lot of time just dicking around though. And the story seems to come in spurts. You'll have an or two without anything at all, and then bam 3 straight hours of story heavy stuff. Then an hour with hardly anything. Rinse and repeat. Its had some very strong points though. But also some really low points.

I'm all about the MCU, mainstream or not the movies are fudging awesome.
And yes I did read the comics as a kid too. I'm also all about Rockstar games. RDR2 was amazing, GTA5 was easily one of my favourite all time games.
Thers are some mainstream stuff I don't like, like GoT, that crap was real boring.
To each their own, but ya they did an amazing job with the MCU movies

id watched the first season way back, and now ive rewatched that and am into the third season, so everything from season 2 on is new to me. damn its soooo good. one of the best live action shows ive ever seen. ill always be partial to anime but this is as good as live action gets.

Ya I dunno I just found it boring.
But that's what I mean you get people that swear by GoT as the second coming, and I think it's boring. Then I love the MCU movies like Ant Man, Dr Strange, IW, End Game etc, and some of you guys couldn't care less.
Just a difference of opinion. I think where it gets stupid is when you throwing dumb labels or reasons like it's not 100% like the comic books, or whatever reason other than that's just not your thing.
As for me, I just can't get into FPS games (unless they're online PSVR games apparently), that's why I am so on the fence about cyperpunk 2077. The game looks amazing from any angle possible except it's FPS instead of 3rd person adventure type.

I absolutely love GoT the books and the show but I could see why people would find it boring.
I can play FPS, but it's really got to be co-op. I've actually never played through Halo solo but I've co-oped the entire franchise twice. I wouldn't want to do it online either, this is couch co-op with a friend. Playing with randoms does not interest me at all.
