I have a pending trade with a new user from the UK, JordanPeralta. he agreed to send first so I didn't have a problem pending. I was pretty excited as I only need 2 more for my golden globe and this would be one. he also had already completed a positive trade with RBK who I deal with regularly and it completed fine.. but this user hasn't logged in for a month now and I haven't heard anything, it was just going to be a digital transaction for some steam credit, which he was getting from a drawing he won or something, but again he was sending first so I had nothing to lose.

I don't have any cancelled trades on me and don't want one over this, neither side has sent anything if he never shows back up can it be nuked? I know things happen and maybe something happened in his family or something and am ok with giving it some time but if he doesn't show for another month or three..?

So, the thing to do in a case like this, is contact me. Then, I will sometimes contact the other trader to get them to wake up... or if it has been a while, just cancel it in their name (not your name).

This is not a documented thing per se, so I think some people just cancel themselves. That usually, isn't so bad either as after 3 days if the other trader does not respond (which seems likely) the canceled trade get deleted. But, you do have it for 3 days and it will bring back any past/over-a-year-old cancels you may have during that time. And, it's not really right because it was really the other trader flaking out.

I will cancel the trade in his name now.
