When my wife and I got married, we were broke (as were our families), so we made a mix tape and played it on a little boom box at our reception. Neither her, nor I can remember what was on it! (this was back in 1998)

Similar situation. We went down to the courthouse and the judge put it all to rest a’ la Springsteen. We did take a nice trip.
