The Toy Collecting + Figure Photography Thread

A thread for us forever-kids who dig this sort of thing to talk toys, figure photography, collections, etc. Show yours off, I wanna see em.
Obviously not my photos (you can find some of those in the thread), but look at these things:
image
Friggin neat. I should preface this thread by saying I tend to lean toward nostalgic properties/toys and I'm not all that "in" on the figure collecting scene. There are just certain pieces that I need and this TMNT/Power Rangers mash up is like smashing two huge aspects of my 90s kid childhood into one gorgeous project. Only one I'm not mega into is Tommy as the Foot Clan soldier (the Tommy head isn't in the photo). I dig that they brought at least one Power Ranger character into the TMNT world instead of vice versa but Tommy doesn't strike me as a Foot guy. That Shredder/Green Ranger mash up is a legit dream fig though.
But yah, share photos of your stuff or just talk about the toys (upcoming or retro) that interest you, etc etc.

Got a few figures coming, all of the 6 inch variety:
- I've heard the articulation on him isn't as great because of the armor, but he looks phenomenal.
These are a pre-order I'm greatly looking foward to:

@Sid_Ceaser @willyum
So I ordered the "Jol" and "Elly" from here: https://giantoy.com/..., but that pre-order is sold out.
There is one available here, though: https://www.tnsfigur...
https://www.tnsfigur...
They're basically 90ish each, which is steep, but they look incredible. They're of the same quality as that 12inch Ellie I got, just in 6 inch form. Weapons are usually highly detailed, have some limited function, etc. That TNS site looks kinda sketch but I've used them before with no issues, in case anyone is wondering. You can put down a deposit to reserve a pre-order, or just pay in full up front. Either way, these things almost always double in price after release and the only place to find them later is eBay. They're not licensed but neither was my CCToys Ellie I got, and it's one of, if not my favorite piece that I own.

Almost splurged on these but decided to wait. They do look great though!

Extremely cool to create a diorama. These storm collectible figures are way too expensive though, IMO.

Agree. Definitely not a price I'd pay for them and not what I would have expected looking at the full size image.

They have SF and MK figures too. They all look cool and have some accessories but I still think theyre greatly over priced at around $100 each for a 1/12th scale. Neca does and good smile make similar figures for 1/2 the price....although I honestly think those are also overpriced tbh.
Figures and Statue prices have gone up considerably in the past few years. Play Arts Kai are like $140+ now, and I remember buying them at $70 at most. Kotobukiya statues have also gone up in prices. I may have to limit myself to "prize" figures in the future if these keep going up.

@kevolones I was thinking half yeah. I got some prize figures recently and they were fine. Especially when you consider that I got them for 600 yen each before shipping.
