Discussion for all things Analogue.
Duo coming out soon, fingers crossed.
But for starters, let's take a look at Pocket.
NES and SNES unlocked.
As far as I can tell, there's no other comparison for FPGA on a portable screen.
It. Is. Good.

https://www.analogue... 1. Duo is shipping Dec 11th and will arrive before Christmas. Emails will be sent out for any address changes. 2. Analogue Pocket will be restocked on Dec 4th, 8am PST and will be delivered before Christmas. An additional Analogue Pocket restock will go live on Dec 8th, 8am PST and will be shipping in Feb 2024. 3. An Analogue Pocket Dock - Limited Edition - in White will be released on Dec 4th and delivered before Christmas. 4. All in-stock orders placed before Dec 11th will be delivered before Christmas. 5. Analogue Pocket OS v1.2 will be released in early December. OS v1.2 fixes many important bugs, adds new controller support, updates Nanoloop, and adds openFPGA Developer features. OS v2.0 will be released before Christmas featuring Original Display Mode support for openFPGA and a new CRT Trinitron Original Display Mode. 6. Analogue Pocket Adapter Sets are delayed and will be released late February. Please see the full announcement here for full details. Not getting the Pocket Adapters is a bummer, but everything else is pretty cool.
So analogue is adding in openFPGA support natively now? That's pretty cool. The filters in fpga will be fun too!

Of the two pending items, I guess I'm happy that at least the Duo is shipping. The Pocket Adapters are now two years in the making.
I'm not a betting man, but I wager that the delay isn't the adapters themselves but the core FPGA logic that the adapters rely on to actually play the games.

I was looking forward to the NGPC adapter too. I suppose another 2 months isn't so bad, if they actually hold themselves to that date.
Any particular Duo/Grafx game that you are super excited to test out? Lords of Thunder comes to mind for me. I'll probably drop in some Dracula X too.

Dracula X for sure. I picked up some odds and ends earlier in the year in anticipation for this.

The Duo review embargo is up, and reviews are filtering in. Here's one I just watched from Game Sack:

Reply when you've received your tracking. None for me yet.
Unrelated, did anyone plop down some cash on the Retrotink 4k? Dying to try some of shmups on the giant screen with the rotation feature.

I got a tracking number, but it hasn't activated yet.
I also picked up a RT4K about two minutes into the launch. We'll see when it gets here.

I've yet to receive a tracking. Anyone from the East Coast?
Update: lol, seems like they skipped over me. I sent email to them at 4:03PM and got a tracking at 4:43PM, they haven't replied to me. I'm looking forward to the excuse.

My tracking still hasn't updated.
Might want to email them. People have received already.
UPS is usually very good at scanning and updating their packages.

Too early to tell for me, I actually don’t have any PC Engine games yet :,)
Will likely pick up a couple in the next few weeks. I’m thinking Rondo and Ninja Spirit

My tracking is still not updated. It'll take a Christmas Miracle to get here before the week is up.
