This is a followup for my 10/24 Report. After a significant amount of effort and time, I finally managed to get Mr. Johnson's family phone number. I talked to his mother that provided me with his cellular phone number. He was surprised I found him and he vaguely mentioned he thought he had sent me my game (false) and that he hadn't cashed my check yet (false again). I gave him one more week to send my money back or the game, waited, and nothing happened. So I called his family a second time, and this time I mentioned to his mother the reason why I was calling. She was very upset at him (it looks like I was not the first caller); she quickly agreed to send me my money back (and so she did). So, according to my experience, Mr. Johnson (a 23 year-old college student at University of Oregon) is a bad trader. There is another report about him (by Gio Hunt) and a quick DejaNews search will reveal another person that had troubles with him (in alt.video.laserdiscs if I am not mistaken; that deal was worth more than $100). He also had negative Ebay rating last time I checked (end of October). In short, be careful if you trade with him.

I agreed to send him a check for Tomb Raider on Sept. 4th. He cashed the check on Sept. 25th (and I only know that because of my bank statement). I have sent E-mails to him asking about the status of our transaction on Sept. 27th, Oct. 18th and Oct. 24th, and I have not received any replies. Actually, the last message he sent me was on Sept. 8th. While I have a feel this is a misunderstanding or a special situation (in which case I will gladly remove this complaint), I am afraid I am not the only person having this kind of trouble (at this date, there is another report about him).
